I can’t believe we are about to enter another decade. Entering 2019 is still fresh in my mind as if it happened last week.

I want to thank @muscara for this Year End Review Challenge because it gives us a chance to look back on our achievements and failures. This serves as a tool to keep us motivated as well as inspiring us to improve in certain areas. Sometimes it takes us to look back to realize how productive we have been.

The days are definitely shorter now which means less time to procrastinate. I plan to continue working hard to accomplish my goals while I still have the energy to.

Have I done everything I set out to do?

I definitely haven’t done everything I set out to do. There are many projects I wanted to get my hands on ie...

• crocheting a cover for a pillow form
• crocheting myself a cardigan (@neumannsalva’s pattern)
• sewing more items for my baby girl
• starting a string quilt
• opening up my homesteaderscoop store

Those are just a few but there are many more. Some things are on hold due to a lack of resources/supplies but I still plan on getting to them.

What I Tried Out

KNITTING! 😃

I am so glad I gave this another try because I am having fun knitting. I look forward to making my first project...a lace scarf!

Once and Never Again

My once and never again moment was this...

when I recently got my beautiful lace hand-dyed yarn into this tangled mess. I will take the advice of my fellow needler @muscara. I will not leave the store without getting the yarn wound in a ball for me. 🤦🏽‍♀️

My Crafting Plans for 2020

My crafting plans for the year 2020 are as follows...to continue doing the things I love to do! I plan to achieve some of those things listed above that I didn’t get to in 2019. I just want to keep enjoying working with my hands, learning about different tools and techniques that will better my skills and continue sharing this whole journey with my #NeedleWorkMonday and Steemit family. ❤️

There was a lot of growing, learning, developing and celebrating that took place for me this year. I was thrilled to see all of the support and attention the @needleworkmonday community received! So many needlers got many upvotes and big upvotes from whales and whale groups. It was so exciting seeing this and I hope to see continued love in the year 2020!

Thank you needleworkers for sharing your work and inspiring others along the way. It’s because of you that sharing on this platform is so much fun and motivating. 💖

Thank you to our supporters and curators that work tiresomely manually upvoting our content. It’s because of you we continue to do what we do! 💓

I look forward to seeing what’s to come for this new year. I plan to keep supporting and inspiring because that’s our motto:

Support & Inspire ~

Wishing Everyone a Wonderful and Productive Happy New Year!

Congrats on 13 years! And a lot of great projects in '19 - I think the house socks are my favorite.

Thank you so much!! I’m glad you liked the socks! They are warm and cozy :D

So many amazing projects :-D And you even started to knit in 2019. I am solooking forward to all the exciting sewing, crocheting and knitting projects ypu will tackle in 2020 <3
I pondered if I want to join into this recap of the last year as I generally love the idea, but I am still to sad and grieving. I find it very hard to think about the last year. I am fighting for hope that all will be better in the future. (I am really sorry for not joining in)
And congratulations for your amazing marriage, which is a huge accomplishment in this fast paced time of social media.

Thank you! I look forward to all of the projects I will tackle as well :D

I definitely understand and no apologies needed. We only give ideas of activities and challenges we all can do together but only want you to join in if it will bring you pleasure. In this case I can imagine how many wounds it would cause you to relive. ❤️

Congratulations for all your achievements! You did a good job. I will be sharing my needleworks soon. I have been aiming to learn on how to do knitting. That's the only one I haven't tried yet.

Thank you so much! I look forward to hearing about your knitting journey once you begin :)
