The judge in today's contest is Ceren (@artizm). "I live in Turkey, and since 2015, I've been working as public relations and advertising. This is not a profession that is my dream. I wanted to be a real artist :) I do something with my own efforts in painting, photography and music. I love every aspect of art. I like to discover successful artists and learn new information from them. And books are my passion."

PRIZES AND PAYMENTS

The SBD on the winners announcement (to be posted on Sunday) at payout will be divided as follows:

First place: 20%
Second place: 12%
Third place: 7%
Seven honorable mentions: 3% each

Hostess: 20%

Looking forward to your submissions! BE CREATIVE and show us flora and fauna in unique ways!

By submitting a photo, you agree to have it featured in the winners announcement post, and automatically entered in the weekly and monthly contests, should it be a winner.

I took this shot with my Nikon D7000 (F/11, 1/60sec) last sunday morning. It just had stopped raining.

Here my entry for Flora and Fauna Friday:
This little mushroom stood in the middle of a large meadow and he seemed quite lost, as if he knew that he had no chance to survive here.

Great lighting on this one - good job!

Thank you very much! :)

My take:
Flowers of Helenium or sneezeweed
Helenium of sneezeweed flowers. I like the color of these flowers: they feel like summer! This weekend it is still freezing cold, longing for spring to come; and then summer. I can't wait!

Blooming ice plants on the coast near Montara California. This is an invasive species that was brought over from South Africa to help shore up rail road tracks. It has since spread all over the California coastline.

I love to capture morning dew droplets on flowers or grass. This image was taken today with smartphone Samsung J5.

Hi @canku, I am glad you're joining the contest, but please read the participation rules carefully.

We saw this raccoon in a park in Burlington. It's a beautiful park, close to the city, but with lots of wildlife.
This raccoon was begging for food, since in the park a lot of people feed the birds and chipmunks. It was the closest ever I've seen a raccoon in the wild.

I hope this photo brings me luck. The only I like is the bug. I think it's sympathetic and cute.ladybug1.png

Hi, here is my entry for Flora and Fauna Friday:
I clicked the picture of these beautiful flowers a few days before in my neighborhood. Flowers filled our life with joy and happiness.

In our second visit of Zielona Gora, we had been living in camping. There was a field nearby and some horses. Usually, they were far enough to take a shot, but that evening walking the horses came closer.
