Yes I agree, its a very good idea to not sqander limited resources, when we have options available to us to use renewable resources instead, I posted something similar the other week https://steemit.com/solar/@scalextrix/getting-solar-panels-on-your-home

I think there is another angle as well, while we are all waiting and arguing about whether climate change is real, if its caused by humans or not and whether we should be doing anything about it, if it IS real, and if we CAN do something about it, trying isnt going to hurt us. I liken this to a patient in hospital, his eyes are shut and when we ask a question we get no reply, is he sick, or is he in a very deep sleep, its hard to tell; if we wait long enough he will either wake up or die, we will then know for sure, but if he dies then we made a big mistake. So lets perhaps try and intervene a bit more, just in case climate change is real. The only people against this are those with vested interests in fossil fuels.
