Day 145

One of the tadpoles has now developed its front arms, this now leaves us with 4 tadpoles without limbs, 3 tadpoles with back legs, and one tadpole with a full set of limbs. It'll likely still be several weeks until the last of the tadpoles has developed into a froglet. I'm considering ending this series on day 150. Currently, my plan is to get into contact with the wholesaler tomorrow and hopefully be able to schedule a time to drive the juvenile frogs over to them on Saturday, day 149.

The froglets have continued to grow, while none of them are large enough to be safely placed in with the juvenile frogs. at least two are large enough that placing new, small froglets into the froglet section of the 20 gallon tank will likely become an issue if I don't move the juvenile frogs out soon and move the larger froglets over to their own section. If not, there are still two options, either redividing the 30 gallon tank in order to put the juveniles in one half of the tank or holding onto the newly developed froglets in the tadpole tank. Holding the froglets in the tadpole tank is a much more short term than redividing the 30 gallon tank would be.

Current Totals:

8 - 10 gallon (Tadpole Tank)
34 - 20 gallon (Frog Tank) [9 froglet, 25 juvenile]
