ANOTHER BABY SNAKE! - AMAZING LITTLE BROWN SNAKE
Wow! That was quick!
If you just saw my last post, then you know I found a little Worm Snake yesterday and had a photo shoot with it this morning. I seriously just posted that about two hours ago, and now, I've found another baby snake on our land!
This one is known as the Brown Snake, DeKay's Brownsnake, or DeKay's Snake (Storeria dekayi) Along with Ringneck Snakes, it is one of the more common small snake species on our property. This one looks like it was born ratehr recently, and I'm glad that I happened to see it! Check it out, and see what you think. Enjoy!

Hi, @papa-pepper, nice catch, he is very cute and must be born a few days ago. Not too long ago I also catch a small snake, a beautiful Lycodon Laoensis also called Laotian Wolf Snake. Thank You for all the great post about animals.
Gorgeous snake! Are you knowledgeable enough about snakes to know if this one is poisonous?
Yes, I am used to be around snakes, this one is a non-venomous one, but some people mistook it with a Krait very strong venom but the body shape is very different and the yellow stripes are closer, also with a mangrove snake same color and mild venom. But you know do not fear snakes they are afraid of us and they will never come to bite you if you do not go close into is protection space, also most of the time venomous snake just make a dry bite to get you away (dry bite is no venom injected or very small amount) snakes are useful for the ecosystem.
I didn't know venomous snakes could bite without releasing venom. That's incredibly useful information if I ever find myself bitten. I love snakes. They are neat little creatures. :-)
A dry bite is happening most of the time if the snake doesn't get hurt, but if it is a venomous snake it is highly recommended to go have a check at the hospital with a picture of the kind of snake or the snake dead or alive. Newborn and young venomous snakes are the most dangerous one because they don't know how to manage their bites so they inject a lot. But, I agree snake are beautiful animals.
It sounds like you should write a whole blog post on snakes and what to do if you are bitten. You have so much knowledge to share! :-)
Snakes is a passion when I catch one and take pictures I posted about it, but @papa-pepper is also very knowledgeable about it and make some nice videos full of information. Thanks :)
DUDE! That snake is cool! I've never seen one of those. That can't be a snake found here in the States.
It is a snake from my garden in Northern Thailand, we have about 176 species around here. From King Cobra to Python to this cute little guy.
