The Beauty Of Nature: Our Resident Ducklings Are Growing Up! Pics & A Short Video.
I was just now about to head outside to wash the car and happened to notice our little duck family out the front of the house pad. I refer to them as "ours" simply because they live on our acreage but in reality they're wild.
We've watched over the past weeks as these little fur balls have grown. How adorable. What I find particularly endearing is how accepting of us they are. They'll show little interest in us walking around and will even hover not far from us when we feed our horses.
The Plovers who are breeding at the moment are quite the opposite. Their chicks are even more fuzzy and cute but the parents are insanely protective of them. I find the differences in behaviour regarding raising young quite interesting.
Here's a little video of the ducklings enjoying our summer grass just now. Enjoy!
😂😂😂 lovely ducks
This is beautiful ..... the duck makes me feel apathetic Lol idon't know why .... but it is very beautiful @nolnocluap
Really cute! It's amazing that they are not intimidated by you. Thanks for sharing. BTW - What is a Plover? A type of duck?

Guess the ducks realise you're not dangerous to them where the plovers don't? Or perhaps the plovers just treat everything as a potential predator XD Makes me wonder if ducks are stupid or really smart.
Chicklets (which includes ducklings and all other baby birds that have their own names! XD) are cute!
Amazing recoding and post @nolnocluap
I'm impressed by the hard work you put into this post. And I see you're writing quite a bit of post on topics revolving animals. I was reaching out to animal lovers who would like to help upvote and resteem this post (https://steemit.com/animals/@deborism/steemit-charity) to fundraise for this christmas charity. No obligations but I hope it means a lot to the person and family in need. Thank you so much in advance!
