Southern Old Lady Moth
This is the Southern Old Lady Moth Dasypodia selenophora. They like to hide in dark areas so they are often spotted in houses (as was this one before I took it outside)

Glad you found it interesting.
thats so interesting
Thanks for visiting.
love your photos :D
Thank you
Old lady that likes to hide in a dark..
She is a Witch! :o
A witch? I suppose you want to throw it in the pond and see if it floats :-)
There is a British moth with the same name where the pattern on the wings was said to be like that on an old lady’s shawl. Another common name for moth in my photo is, Golden Cloak Moth, So I imagine the name "old lady" has the same meaning as with the British moth. (Badly worded. Hope that makes sense)
And if she does she is made of wood!
Definitely a witch :D
great shot followed and resteemed
Thanks very much.
