Trying to live in the moment, but also looking forward to brighter days
... And with that I mean literally brighter days. As we are above the polar circle, we don't get to see the sun till late January. The dark doesn't bother me at all, and the snow and slippery roads I can also take. What bothers me the most at the moment is that the village we live in is full of meese/moose! I'm seriously afraid they will hit my car or hit me in person. But they are soon leaving for the woods again.
As I'm waiting for the sun and brighter days, I'm looking at pictures from our awesome vacation to Lofoten and Vesterålen (where I now live).

Det er lys i horisonten, bokstavelig talt! Sitter her på vestlandet og har følt litt på mørket. Men nå er det faktisk begynt å bli bedre. Lyset er lenger på besøk enn bare for 2 uker siden, det går riktig vei, og vi har "bedre" tider i vente :)
Det er jo noe av det som er magisk ved å bo i Norge, at vi setter så stor pris på når vi går mot våre og sommer, at vi virkelig setter stor pris på lyset!
Det er helt sant, vi er flinke til å sette pris på solen og lyset :) Jeg gleder meg til å se dagene bli lysere nå fremover, og selvsagt blir det fantastisk å bo under midnattssolen i vår og sommer!

As my husband and me had a Viking/Celtic wedding I really want to travel to Norway with him! It would be so perfect to discover the land where they lived, laughed and drank some Mead😄

Yes we actually got married in Viking clothes and celebrated a Viking-/Celtic ritual and party in a castle on the top of a mountain :) It was AMAZING! Unfortunately a lot of pictures got lost but my family still has them! If I visit them, I'll take them with me and post about it :)
Now I really, really want to visit Norway even more than I even wanted to before :D
