TOURISTS are going to extreme lengths to experience a dangerous attraction in Brazil called Pedra Que Engole, which translates to Swallow Rock. Pedra Que Engole is a sort of natural waterslide that looks more like the unrelenting, hungry jaws of Poseidon dragging you down to a watery grave.  Pedra Que Engole is a rock formation located above a river in Trindade, south of Rio de Janeiro. The ominously named site is nothing more than a rock formation and small waterfall. But how the thing is arranged makes it seem like a deathtrap. Tourists flock to the rocks to slide their bodies through a tiny crevice.

The rocks at Pedra Que Engole give way to a small opening that leads to a dark cave large enough for only a handful of people. This cozy cave is connected on the opposite side to a small creek. Nothing death-defying here. The scary part is that the narrow passageway into the cave is covered by a veil of flowing water, making it look like anyone entering the cave is headed to sleep with the fishes, if you catch our drift.The gushing water from the waterfall to take them for a ride, they disappear into a small cave.

 Though fraught with danger, the attraction is increasingly popular with tourists from all over the world. It has a 4.5 out of five star rating on TripAdvisor.It's not the only dangerous tourist attraction that continues to lure daredevils seeking cheap thrills.
