Fall Comes To Kansas, Finally
Fall, in Kansas, this year has been very green and warm. The trees have been reluctant to change color, the grass keeps growing. But finally, this last week the nights have started getting cooler. We even had one night where the temperature dipped into the mid 40s. As a result, we are starting to see the changing of the season. A few weeks later than normal, but better late than never.
In our front yard we have a couple elm trees that have changed into their autumn shades of yellow and purple.
Some of the oaks have also start to show their fall colors while others still hold onto their summer green.
We also have a couple types of maple trees in the area. The silver maples have not begun to change yet.
But the sugar maple down the street has begun to transform into a magnificent red.
Fall has always been my favorite season, a large part because of the colorful display of the fall foliage. Often when we have an unseasonably warm fall the colors never manage to show up in abundance. The leaves turn from green to brown and drop without much to admire.
While it was slow in coming, the early indications are that we will indeed have a beautiful fall after all. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we will not have a hard frost any time soon and mother nature will be able to deliver on this promise.
Until next time...
First snow just arrived here.
You must be much further north. Is this about a normal time of year for the first snowfall there?
Yes. It is pretty normal to get snow this time in Finland.
Love that fall color change. Also, only one more chapter to go in my book!
You probably saw a much more dramatic color change in Wisconsin than I'm guessing you do in Arkansas.
Oh btw, I really enjoyed your take on free will in the previous chapter of Love Like His.
Wow the nature is indeed amazing and liked the Images it did helped Early & after effects ;)
Nice photographs buddy :)
Thank you very much!
Always welcome buddy

Beautiful colors in the trees. Nature certainly shows off this time of year.
It looks like you have got some beautiful fall colors happening now. Hopefully the the leaves stay on the trees for a while longer.
Really great pics showcasing your view, thanks for sharing Brother.
The cooler weather is finally arriving. Very gusty outside now. Blowing in from the north. My Canadian friend has sent fall down my way finally. If the leaves can hang on a few more days we should really start seeing some colors.
Looking forward to another update!
Really amazing photographs Nature looks incredible :D
Thank you!
So after a few days, you are back in business. Waiting for your updates man. I hope everything is well with you.
Thank you, it is continuing to get a little colder here, should really see the colors start to pop soon.

Friend I have few questions about Mining! One of my good friend is planning to make a mining rig! So we have few questions and want to hear your opinion also!
Cheers~
Thank you. I'd be happy to answer any questions I'm able to.
Very wonderful photos and good to know about your environment. Global warming has truly affected the eco-system and it destroys the atmospere and delays in changes to nature and at times i asked if we are already in winter when it is still Antumn. Crazy world we live in
Crazy indeed and getting more so every day it seems.
yes, you are right and global warming and complete air pollution has been in the rising these days due to technological evolution and other inventions. chemicals are been exposed to the air so, we just have to hope that the nature does not die away so quickly
