Dirty Your Hands, Clean Your Life.
See the tall guy, holding the really long selfie-stick? That's Beau Dunavant IV, and he's up to something very cool.
(I'm wearing all green, and am the second person to his raised, right arm.)
I met Beau in October 2014. We were earning joint certifications in
Superadobe Earth Architecture from Cal-Earth,
and in Permaculture Design from Midwest Permaculture.
That joint training happened in Hesperia, California, in the Mojave Desert.
The things I learned, and the people I met, rank among the highest of all my learning experiences. Ever.
This September in Taos, New Mexico, Beau and his team are hosting a Conscious Building & Lifestyle workshop!
It will be "a building retreat that not only focuses on the importance of the land, but also the importance of the builder."
Check out the description.
I think it's going to be something very special.

We all build, all the time.
Are we able to say we love our constructions?
I can relate, Erika. Building and living the good life in the good earth.

I LOVE that post, @flynnjohnson! This is my favorite line, and promise, in it:
"We will then travel together into the world of earthen construction and internal investigation..."
CONSTRUCTING SHELTER + CONSTRUCTING SELF work together, beautifully. Powerfully.
Haha, nice to find a natural builder posting at steemit. I am with you!
AND there is Ian in the blue shirt at the right! Amazing!
Wonderful quote: " We build all the time. Are we able to say we love our constructions?"
This really resonates with me because I have been delving into minimalism, decluttering my home and really focusing on the things I have allowed into my life.
I use the 3 questions:
Do I love this?
Do I need this?
Will this help me to lead the life I want?
If something (whether it's an object, a project, a thought, a person etc.) doesn't get a 'yes' for at least one of these questions then I am letting it go.
Followed!
i like it
great!
Great title bro!
Does sound indeed like an awesome workshop - quick question, I'm very new to Steem and still need to learn how to use this markup thing to make my posts look fancy. Can I ask where you found those fancy dividers in your post? Looks cool! Was it just a google search or do you have a database/library of these somewhere? :)
@jobsande, welcome to Steemit! It's awesome that you want to beautify your posts already :-) You described exactly what I did/used... GoogleImaged "page dividers."
aha! So that's the magic google phrase, thanks :-)
