My trip digging for Diamonds and visiting the Howe Caverns!
Recently I took a trip and much needed break from the busy nights and long days of the day trading world back home. So me and a friend decided to take a trip up into the backwoods to a dig site where we could dig for Herkimer diamonds. We dug through tons of ledge hoping to find deep pockets filled with different minerals!
We spent 6 days camping in the backwoods digging on a site in upper state New York that is only open two weeks a year to make sure that all the diggers don't pull all the minerals out.
There is only a few places in the world you can find these pockets of minerals and Japan is one of them
First few days we found very little but I was optimistic and of course on the last day we found the best pocket right before the last campfire and dinner we had there.
The trip was great we smoked a lot of backwoods and enjoyed the time away from our electronic devices

it was a great time! I did crush my finger while mining on the third day but we had that treasure fever so we didn't stop , dawn till dusk everyday it was amazing! good to be in nature!
