These are wonderful! I made my first one a few weeks ago! What great fun! Such an easy task to do too!

What did you do it with? Interested!

I have used most of it already. Some in salad dressings but mainly to gargle with because i got a virus that created an insanely sore throat. I used it as medicine 😉 Do you make these? Which is your fave?

What a beautiful post. Just the thought of honey and herbs makes me feel all gooey. You know, I never put honey in my fire cider, but it'd be a darn sight more palatable if I did. Have you ever put rose hips in honey? What's your fave oxymel recipe? I need my beekeeper to come check my bees to see if we have our own honey in our boxes - now that would be special!

I am so envious, we keep postponing getting bees because of the start-up costs but I am really desperately wanting them. I don't put honey in my fire cider either! I like the option of not having the sweetness. I didn't mention that because I often overcomplicate my recipes and posts with options and side notes.

I am pretty lazy and choose rose hip recipes that don't require the laborious efforts of scraping out the hairs. You'd have to scrape out all the hairs to infuse in honey but I bet it would good - a vitamin C++ immune booster. An easier way to infuse the goodness would be to put whole rose hips into the ACV, infuse that for a month or so, and add the honey after straining.

I was sold as soon as I saw that it was filled with honey haha. This is a beautiful idea. I believe that our world is an amazing place and everything we need is all around us...we just have to looking for us. Thank you for this. Be well.

I completely agree with you!

everything we need is all around us...we just have to look!

I love this idea and it is a new one for me. It see a lot of ways to make tinctures and infusions and they are so complicated. If I can find some raw honey in Mayalsia, I will be on it. Here, all the honey I see locally is strained to within an inch of its life!

That's such a shame about the honey ! :( You can do this without honey if you want and you'll still get many benefits or you can add pure maple syrup instead of honey (just use less as it will overpower - if you can get that).
