Atlantis - Navajo Anasazi Legends
Hello my good Steemit friends. I have met many Navajo here in Utah and heard some of the legends of the Anasazi a race of people that lived in the Four Corners area of the United States that were high technology and were destroyed or disappeared. In our quest to answer the question of whether or not Atlantis just might be North and South America, we examine some of the legends and evidence that people were here far advanced technologically far past the Navajo and Hopi.
Anasazi were thought to have come from the heavens, outer space.
They built complex structures which some they destroyed by fire and demolition when they abandoned them and others they left standing with everything in them. They simple abandoned the buildings and walked away. There could have been a war with the Aztecs who were at great power at the end of the Anasazi time on Earth.
There is not much to say about the structures except they defy the taught status of what was in North America as wrong.
Chaco Canyon
Chaco Canyon is a marvelous place which just seems a bit odd for the architecture that exists out in the middle of a very, very desolate desert that can kill by dehydration in just a few hours.
Chaco Canyon - is like many places on the Earth with mysteries where the people lived out of time with theories of civilizations of the past. These people knew precise architectural design principles, higher mathematics, astronomy, and superior agricultural techniques. When one looks at what could be the ruins of great sculptured monuments in my previous post, it looks like either a comet or large meteorite hit the Earth, or a nuclear bomb.
This mesa top palace in Arizona is spectacular and took a long time to find by those who print what children should learn in school. It is obvious that we need to update some textbooks to have theories that are more in line with what evidence exists, such as the architectural ruins of the Anasazi.
Back to Chaco Canyon for something that does not look like it was dug out with sharp pointed sticks. There are more places that this, many more. And it sure is strange to find them. See them and one's imagination is led to wander away from what is declared to be and taught as fact.

The question you ask is a very curious one but true: Where did they get the knowledge to build these architectural buildings of such sophistication? I like how you link the Native American world to the bigger picture of Atlantis. Thanks for posting...nice photos. I posted on another of your articles about Graham Hancock's recent work and lectures. He agrees with you...that it was a meteorite that hit this planet about 12,000 years ago.
There is the meteor crater in Arizona. have you ever been there? The crater is huge and caused by a 200 pound block of nickel. The thing is not all meteors hit the ground. There can be meteors that disintegrate in the atmoshpere close to the ground which produce little or no crater but make horrific blasts, like a hydrogen bomb. No I haven't altho I visited my father in Arizona last year and I really wanted to go there. I had to choose with the time available and I wound up going to the Petrified Forest. Ps. I'm female. :)
The petrified forest is really neat. Thank you my friend @mymoontao for your comments. It is too bad that you have not yet seen the crater in Arizona. It is really big and they say it had a 40 mile blast radius. I was in the army and saw thousands of blasts. This one takes the cake though. I am male
Well, someday I hope to see it. I don't plan to visit my dad and stepmom this year, but I hope to do another trip soon. Soon for me might be a couple of years. I also missed the Grand Canyon...another of my choices. Reasons/excuses for me to go visit my dad.
It does reveal itself as a parental plan doesn't it: also refuse to take your daughter to one of the more interesting sights and she will have to keep coming back. It works :-)
I am fairly new here on Steemit and I was drawn to this post because of the Navajo title. I've done some work tracking down my own bloodlines and sorting genetic code (as a cancer survivor) and one of the ones I found was Navajo! So I am always curious to learn things about their culture. I mentioned my trip to AZ last year. We passed through Navajo reservation territory and it ...well, it awakened some of that consciousness within me. I know they were especially good with codes and oral history, as well as I think, one of the most agricultural of all the Native American tribes. Its my sense that they were favored by 'the Mother Spirit' because of their tending of the Earth and the tending of Her creatures. Over other tribes who were only hunter gatherers per se. Just some stuff to think about...sharing my clues here, feeling out what I know about them. Thanks for the post...the photographs are amazing!
Glad you liked it. The Navajo signed a peace treaty with the United Stated government and did not war. As such they were given a huge reservation and if you have explored the reservation in any depth, you see they are "At it." Or in the rat race. They have their own oil refinery and they own the refinery in Salt Lake City. They have their own bitcoin called navcoin. They were represented on Star Trek Next Generation for a reason.
I didn't see that one...the Star Trek episode. That is interesting history, thank you for sharing it.
Oh yeah! Sorry...not to be overwhelming. But I just remembered...one of the places I DID visit in AZ was Toozigoot. Not sure if I spelled that right. But it was a forest service site of an old Native American stone city on the top of a hill. They had their cropland and their water source beautifully arranged around this hilltop. The place is on the Sedona side of Jerome. :) Your photographs reminded me of it just now.

I have heard Hopi legends. Many Indian Nations have their own legends...perhaps they really do know the truth?
I don't know for certain they do know the truth because many of these ruins are very ancient but one of the interesting prophecies of the Hopi is that all tribes of the Earth would gather here in the United States. That is very much true. It has come to pass. Just about every race or nationalities has people living in the United States who have emigrated. Furthermore and I just thought of this, the United Nations is very much every tribe of the Earth here.
Is Atlantis a Myth or it really Existed?
That is the question that is being asked here on Steemit my friend @oluwoleolaide. What do you think? We are on the far side of the Atlantic from the place where the legend of Atlantis survived.
My guts tell me it existed,have just not seen a tangible proof yet.There was a time i web surf about it a whole bunch.
