My Story Contest 3: (7 bikes,14 dudes ,500 kms and 1 destination -Hyderabad to Srisailam)

This post is about my personal off roading adventure experience. @ashwinrajt is hosting this wonderful contest where Steemit travelers are sharing their stories. I too thought to give it a try.

Back in 2013,we rode 500 KMS(250 kms up and down) in a single day to srisailam dam from Hyderabad .We were a gang of 14 friends from college on 7 bikes and it was republic day holiday.

I am the one with beige jacket on black pulsar 150,along with my buddy @sillentkiller in the above picture.
S‌o It was a random plan and only those works out most of the times.We started early morning around 6'O clock from Madhapur,hi-tech city, Hyderabad,got our fuel tanks full and took the road to Osman Sagar via Gachibowli.

The weather was perfect for a road trip and we were pumped up for the journey.None of us had slept the last night coz we were at a friend's birthday party and the plan was on from 3 am midnight.just when we crossed the Hyderabad discrict ,the plan got worse. One of the bike's engine got seized midway but the destination was in our mind and we didn't wanted to ruin the trip.so we booked a pickup van,loaded the bike onto and sent it back to hyderabad.the two guys who were riding that bike split to other bikes and we were now moving.we knew that its gonna be a hectic journey so we decided to make a pool of bikes who will lead in the front with their GPS navigator on and the rest will follow them.

The terrain of the countryside was rough but beautiful all along the journey as we proceeded and we had small tea and refreshment breaks at intervals whenever there was a maintenance break at service stations due to punctures .Guys with their cameras were busy capturing the riders and the landscape and made those memories to last forever. We reached Srisailam by the evening ,visited the temple and the water fall.by that time it was getting darker .So we decided to head back to hyderabad riding continuously for another 6 hours.We had a bonefire in the middle of highway with no lights or traces of humans around 10 kms.Finally we reached home by 11pm with tanned faces, loose shoulders and dust all over the bikes.In the end It was a fun weekend getaway of 14 college buddys and surely my best road trip ever!
