Music Monday (feel free to add your music)
Every Monday I intend to post a music video (and a few words explaining my choice) I invite you to join me by doing same in the comments section below. As the forum (hopefully) grows my aim is that we begin to inspire our fellow Steemians to broaden their musical horizons by listening to the music that inspires us. The only thing I ask is that (where possible) every song we listen to is played nice and loudly on headphones or speakers in order that we capture it’s true essence.
As more Steemians join this venture there is also going to be the possibility of being rewarded for our musical tastes via the amount of upvotes each song receives. That said please never feel awkward about posting a track, a guilty pleasure or even your own musical ventures. I have an extremely wide range of musical interests but also understand that music like beauty is very much in the eye of the beholder. As such I may play my chosen song, but who am I to define what constitutes good music.

Love the 70's psychedelic throwback vibe he has going on .. great choice this week my friend, thank you for the music and thank you for the introduction to this artist .. Yeah sorry, I've just been in a mad rush to get this place to a level that we can enjoy a nice Christmas and so haven't even had a chance to look at the computer. I have some good posts fleshed out in my head though and I can't wait to start writing again! :D Exodus on vinyl .. now I'm jealous! Funnily enough, I was just speaking to my friend "Kaya" whose Dad (worked in the music industry) once spent a smoke fuelled weekend with Bob and loved the man so much he named his daugher after the album .. small world lol. This is just a such a great track and sentiment .. really powerful and beautiful, a high tide mark not only in reggae but music in general. Thank you for sharing @shepz1 this my friend, was just what the doctor ordered!

Dude, I am running in a Goldring e3 violet cartridge on a pro-ject debut 3 turntable, without even running it in, it blows away my £3000.00 cd player. :-)
Hey dude, my friends Dad has an old valve amp from the 60's and the sound just blows everything else out of the water .. such a rich and beautiful sound, and the valves are both large and bare so you can literally hear and observe it warming up and getting into the music .. awesome!! :D
Quad by any chance? I used to sell them and I have kt66's in my collection (output valves made by GEC.)
I'm not sure what it is I'm afraid .. remember those old music centers that sat in a glass cabinet? The valves are in a unit like that ..looks pretty impressive when they're lit up .. he tells me its worth £25,000, but that could be bullshit as its really not my field so I have no way of knowing the validity of that statement. Small world and a man of many talents :)

Hey @deirdyweirdy glad you liked the track my friend. I know what you're saying about PIL .. some of their tracks seemed to be a Johnny Rotten vanity project, but they did produce a handful of great songs and this one (which is one of their very best) is a testament to that fact! Really takes me back listening to this timeless classic .. thank you for sharing and thank you for the music, I really enjoyed this trip down memory lane! :)

Hey my friend, yes I know Enya .. I think her brothers and sisters still perform as Clannad, and if you don't know them they could be worth a listen. Such a beautiful song and she really does have an amazing voice with an almost ethereal quality to it. Really dreamlike feel to this track, perfect for the headphones :) Thank you for the music my friend .. this was a listening pleasure. :)
