Since I started writing the post for #danceweekend, I have really enjoyed making those reviews, because, although in that case it refers to dance music, it is very pleasant to talk about the music that one likes.

I liked it so much, that I decided to write about music that is not danceable, that is, review the music that I like and that has marked me at some point in my life.

I think it's always interesting to know what other people like and why. So I hope that this new space will be to your liking and I will gladly receive the comments you want to let me know or any suggestions you may have.

Alba Molina, is a Spanish singer, gypsy, daughter of singers and granddaughter of singers. Her grandmother was the famous Flamenco-singer Antonia Rodríguez "La Negra". She is also a model of extraordinary beauty. I knew about her music accidentally, when by mistake in a video they presented her with the guitarist Paco de Lucia, in a song that I thought was one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. It is a Sevillana that is a flamenco musical form, but with a guitar accompaniment that combines the flamenco style with the classical interpretation of this instrument.

I was so struck by that performance that I started looking for it until I found her and it was she herself who informed me that the guitarist who accompanies her there is José Antonio Rodríguez and that the song that is entitled "Sevillanas de la vida" is part of the soundtrack of the Spanish film" Sobreviviré ".

Desde que empecé a escribir los post para #danceweekend, he disfrutado mucho haciendo esas reseñas, porque , aunque en ese caso se refiere a música de baile, es muy placentero hablar de la música que a uno le gusta.

Tanto me gustó, que decidí escribir también acerca de música que no sea bailable, es decir, reseñar la música que me gusta y que me ha marcado en algún momento de mi vida.

Creo que siempre es interesante saber lo que les gusta a otras personas y el porqué. Así que espero que este nuevo espacio sea del agrado de ustedes y con gusto recibiré los comentarios que quieran hacerme o las sugerencias que pudieran tener.

Alba Molina, es una cantante española, gitana, hija de cantantes y nieta de cantantes. Es además es modelo de una belleza extraordinaria. Su abuela fue la conocida cantante de flamenco Antonia Rodríguez "La Negra".Desde los 12 años empezó a desfilar en pasarelas, a los 14 ganó un concurso de belleza y a los 19 años grabó su primer disco “Despasito”, que nada tiene que ver con la canción homónima de Luis Fonsi.

Ese disco lo hizo con la colaboración de su papá, Manuel Molina, quien junto a la madre de Alba formaba parte del dúo “Lola y Manuel” y quienes significaron una renovación dentro de la música flamenca y su apertura a un público más extenso. También colaboró para ese disco el músico, cantante, compositor y productor Alejandro Sanz, quien es una de las estrellas más importantes de la escena musical española de hoy.

En el año 2003 publica el disco “Ojú” con un grupo llamado “Las Niñas llamado”, con el cual alcanzan ventas extraordinarias y numerosos premios y nominaciones. En este grupo combinaban elementos del pop, hiphop y varias tendencias modernas con el flamenco.

Hasta el año 2009, en el cual vuelve a salir como solista con el disco “Tu cara”. Sin embargo durante todo ese tiempo estuvo alternando en sus presentaciones y grabaciones la música moderna con los cantos gitanos, la música flamenca.

Yo supe de su música accidentalmente, cuando por error en un video la presentaban a ella junto al guitarrista Paco de Lucia, en una canción que me ha parecido de las más hermosas que he escuchado. Se trata de un “sevillana” que es una forma musical flamenca, pero con un acompañamiento de guitarra que combina el estilo flamenco con la interpretación clásica de este instrumento.

Tanto me impactó esa interpretación que la empecé a buscar hasta que di con ella y fue ella misma quien me informó que el guitarrista que la acompaña allí es José Antonio Rodríguez y que la canción que lleva por título “Sevillanas de la vida” es parte de la banda sonora de la película española “Sobreviviré”.

A partir de allí todo fue buscar en internet y youtube…

Seitdem ich anfing die Beiträge für #danceweekend zu schreiben, habe ich es wirklich genossen, diese Kritiken zu schreiben, denn obwohl es sich in diesem Fall auf Tanzmusik bezieht, ist es sehr angenehm, über die Musik zu sprechen, die man mag.

Es hat mir so sehr gefallen, dass ich beschloss, auch über Musik zu schreiben die nicht tanzbar ist, das heißt, die Musik zu rezensieren, die ich mag und die mich irgendwann in meinem Leben geprägt hat.
