I take advantage of the opportunity that I have been writing quite a lot about cañonera music these days, to continue uploading songs that allow having a clearer vision of what this musical genre is, typical of the city of Caracas.

For an album that my sister @helyorsini and I had made, she composed a song that had a very Spanish feel to it. I really liked that song and when we went to record the album "Luna sobre el Valle" with Los Cañoneros, I wanted to make a version of the song.

In that album I experimented a lot fusion with elements of other musical genres. I then had the idea of converting the song "Luna mía" into a pasodoble with elements of the Jamaican rocksteady. So I did and for the recording we invited two musicians who were working in groups of that genre. The first of them is Darío Adames, drummer who today is part of the group "Caramelos de Cianuro" and that by that time played with the group "Negust Nagast", a Venezuela Reggae band.

The other guest is Emigdio Suárez, who was keyboardist of the ska group "Desorden Público" and now has his solo project as "Emigdio + Superpower".

The rest of the musicians that participate in the record are the members of "Los Cañoneros", where highlights the sax solo by Benjamin Brea.

Aprovecho que en estos días he estado escribiendo bastante acerca de la música cañonera, para seguir subiendo canciones que permitan tener una visión más clara de lo que es este género musical, propio de la ciudad de Caracas.

Para un disco que habíamos hecho mi hermana @helyorsini y yo, ella compuso una canción que tenía un aire muy español. A mí me gustó mucho ese tema y cuando fuimos a grabar el disco "Luna sobre el Valle" con Los Cañoneros, quise hacer una versión del tema.

En ese disco experimenté bastante fusión con elementos de otros géneros musicales. Tuve entonces la idea de convertir la canción "Luna mía" en un pasodoble con elementos del rocksteady jamaiquino. Así lo hice y para la grabación invitamos a dos músicos que estaban trabajando en grupos de ese género. El primero de ellos es Darío Adames, baterista que hoy en día forma parte del grupo "Caramelos de Cianuro" y que para ese momento tocaba con el grupo "Negust Nagast".

El otro invitado es Emigdio Suárez, quien era tecladista del grupo de ska "Desorden Público" y ahora tiene su proyecto solista como "Emigdio + Superpower".

El resto de los músicos que participan en el tema son los miembros de "Los Cañoneros", donde destaca el solo de saxo de Benjamín Brea.

Ich nutze die Gelegenheit, dass ich in diesen Tagen ziemlich viel über Cañonera-Musik geschrieben habe, um weiterhin Songs hochzuladen, die eine klarere Sicht dessen erlauben, was dieses Musikgenre ist, typisch für die Stadt Caracas.

Für ein Album, das meine Schwester @helyorsini und ich gemacht hatten, komponierte sie einen Song, der sehr spanisch anmutete. Ich mochte diesen Song sehr und als wir das Album "Luna sobre el Valle" mit Los Cañoneros aufnehmen planten, wollte ich eine Version des Songs machen und es einschließen.

In diesem Album experimentierte ich viel mit Elementen anderer Musikgenres. Ich hatte dann die Idee, das Lied "Luna mía" mit Elementen der jamaikanischen Rocksteady in ein Pasodoble zu verwandeln. Also tat ich und für die Aufnahme luden wir zwei Musiker ein, die in Gruppen dieses Genres arbeiteten. Der erste von ihnen ist Darío Adames, Schlagzeuger, der heute Teil der Gruppe "Caramelos de Cianuro" ist und zu dieser Zeit mit der Gruppe "Negust Nagast", eine Venezolanische Reggae Band, spielte.

Der andere Gast ist Emigdio Suárez, der Keyboarder der Ska-Gruppe "Desorden Público" war und nun sein Soloprojekt als "Emigdio + Superpower" hat.

Der Rest der Musiker, die an der Aufnahme teilnehmen, sind die Mitglieder von "Los Cañoneros", wo das Saxophonsolo von Benjamin Brea hervorhebt.
