If anything Queen is super fucking UNDERRATED when people talk about music legends. The combined talent in that band was off the charts!
i agree. i think they're not appreciated enough in retrospect. SHEER HEART ATTACK was pretty much proto-thrash metal!
I respect Queen but I gotta be honest I don't love listening to them. Not talking shit, I've just heard all their material too much!
I agree with your middle finger for the Cure guy. And EVERYTHING you said about the ska post, YES YES YES! Fuck yes Choking Victim, and fuck yes Trojan Records! I remember in high school I found a torrent(whoops) of a collection of all of the Trojan Record material recorded, and I had a week long playlist just of that that I would put on shuffle for a few hours every day, or listen more in depth.

Queen overrated??? They were so experimental for their time. It seems like ever song is an anthem. But I guess we all have our opinions. You know once the windows go up in the car, we all rock out to “Fat Bottom Girs” and “Stone Cold Crazy”!!!
I will have to agree that In Utero was a better album from my stand point. It was a lot darker than Nevernind in a lot of ways and as a boy of 13 at they time, it was one of those albums that really got me into music.
Trojan records, yea yea! I agree with dude's comment. I don't like most white-boy 90's 00's ska either, but get a lot of shit for defending ska to most folks because of that lil...fad or whatever you wanna' call it. The Lorde one is hilarious too! Don't mess with Bjork, though. I love her.

The only songs I have from them in my library are 007 (Shanty Town) from Desmond Dekker, and Judge Dread from Prince Buster. The again, even some of my favorite artists I only end up keeping a handful of their songs. The Skatalites, Byron Lee and the Dragonaires, and Phyllis Dillon are definitely up there too.

I agree because Freddie has been dead for a long time they went down hill after that. Freddie will be making a comeback this year titled Bohemian Rhapsody (Fox) - 12/25/2018
