What is DSound
DSound is a web app. developed by @prc that gives recording artists and other sound creators a place to upload, listen and discover new music and various other audio content. DSound uses Steem blockchain and this allows users to earn rewards in Steem. You can also make tracks available for people to download or even purchase.

As a music recording artists here on steemit I was of course very excited to hear about this new application and have been making an effort to upload daily on DSounds.
I really love using this app. because it makes posting my music very simple. Allowing for a cover photo and brief description of the track I can upload quickly and it will post directly to my steemit account, while at the same time cataloging all my musical uploads on DSound itself for fans to be able to quickly find other material. That last part is absolutely brilliant to me because even though I post quite often on steemit my music and anyone can browse through my profile to find songs, I also post a lot of other things on steemit and finding just the music selection might be a bit tedious. Having all my sounds cataloged and saved on DSound is absolutely brilliant. DSound directly links to your steemit account so you can upvote and support audio files right there on the site without having to actually be on the steemit platform itself... So if your interested in kicking back and just enjoying the sounds of steemit in one place, DSound is your place to be.
Its innovations like this that continue to make steemit an incredibly exciting place. If you are a person who has audio files in music form, podcasts, spoken poetry or anything else and you are using steemit, go ahead and try uploading a few things on DSound.

Its good to hear you've been getting on alright with it, I'm still not sure I'm in love with it at present - the sale function must be pretty useful for you though
I havent put anything up for sale as of yet. I leave it all in the now for free download, its just sorda where im at with my music right now, i have hard time charging people for the music. There are def. glitches in the system with playback sometimes, im appreciating the souce links provided as I feel like they seem to work better than the DSound official links but I have faith here and am finding easy to post up individual tracks with ease.
That's fair enough, I just wasn't aware that you could sell there before. I guess you can feel good that your posts are helping to maintain/develop dsound :) it does pull the post together nicely too.
A good review. I also love @dsound! Only needs to become a little faster soon ;-) I used the "buy" button on some of my songs already because we have the full album on bandcamp. But on most of my uploads i set it as download for free.

Checked them out. I was having an issue trying to log on though...Kept giving me some error in red on the right hand side of my screen. Love the concept though.

i am trying to load tunes to dsound but i keep getting rejected. any advice or helps or work arounds ? thanks

It will really help the musicians here on steemit like dtube is doing. Although this is in the early stages but we will see more improvements in the future.
