The video that made me fall in love with Tool 🎶
This video was introduced to me quite a few years back, I had never really taken notice of Tool at that point, and then I watched this.

It is most certainly worth a watch, if you are into Music, Maths or Spirituality. This video goes into how the band uses the Fibonacci sequence in the song, and they really do use it in such a beautiful way, all the while combining it with some truly soul-touching lyrics. Ever since I first watched this video, this song has become one of my all time favourites.
The song itself is so full of emotion and meaning. Many times when I'm feeling down or disconnected, I pop this song on for some music therapy, and it always helps me find my connection with the universe again. The song is also great for singing along and rocking out to, so it really does tick a lot of boxes.
I really just wanted to share this, and I hope it resonates with someone as well! Do say hi if you enjoy Tool as well, I'm always up for making music friends! And feel free to recommend other bands/songs you think I might like 🤘
Tool is amazing... great song choice. I cannot wait for the new album to drop. Maynard said he hasn't even begun to write the lyrics yet. Wont let me upvote - not enough power... I will come back in a few minutes and upvote.

I can't wait either.. I really feel for them though, imagine how high everyone's expectations are now, having had to wait so long. I wonder if that's making them second guess their creations more, which could be what keeps making it take longer 😕
did you watch the interview with Maynard on the Joe Rogan Experience?
Yes I watched the bit where he was talking about how the other band members keep changing the track after sending it to him! That's why I wonder if some of the reason why it's taking so long is because of what I mentioned earlier.

One of my favorite bands of all time. They are an excellent live concert experience for all music and art fans. I've had the pleasure of seeing them several times from festivals, arenas, and amphitheaters to a small(ish) 1500 person theater. Besides being amazing musicians they integrate video art and lighting into the show incredibly.
Awesome!!! I haven't had the honor yet, but I've always heard great things about their shows, and of course, youtube videos of their shows are just about fulfilling that thirst for now :)

IF the new album ever does come out I'm sure they will do a big world tour and you'll get a chance.
I listen to a little bit of everything...been digging the new war on drug album the past few days.

Cool will check out War on Drugs, good thing they're on spotify, makes things much easier. (another gripe I have with Tool: they are annoyingly not on spotify)
excellent song. I had a pretty strong experience with the parabola song. until today I watch the video and it gives me goosebumps upvoted and reggards to you
Hell yea!!! Parabola is probably my 2nd favourite of theirs, I almost always play it rght after lateralus :) I love the lyrics to Parabola.
