FOLLOW THE MUSIC BY MAXWELL BRUNO
Hello everyone. The song above is one of my personal favorite songs that I'd always listen to from time to time and smile. I wrote this song early last year but got to record it late last year.
It was late into the night and I was lonely and alone in my room. Nope!! I wasn't really alone. I was with my guitar whom I consider my second wife. Whom I also love so much. There was nobody else in that room apart from the two of us. I had fallen so hard for this amazing beautiful woman and I couldn't stop thinking about her. If you were me, it would have been as hard for you to get her out of your mind as it was hard for me.
As I thought about her, I decided to start playing and singing random personal songs with my guitar. Suddenly, there was a specific unique guitar progression (Dm,Am,E,Am) that I found myself playing. I decided to pen down some lyrics out of nowhere and that is how Follow The Music was born.
Basically, it is a slow-dance love song combining both the gentleman-badboy feel/vibe. It's about a guy who want's to take a beautiful woman out on a romantic date. He wants them to go to a place where they can relax,dance and have a good time. He goes ahead to pour out his heart and feelings in a cup then asks her to sip it.

The beautiful woman I was thinking about, is the whole inspiration behind this song. It's therefore right to say it's based on a true love story.
