Our Next Club Night: Markus Schulz & Omnia
This will be our 6th music event and as usual, some brand exposure for STEEM (included in all of our marketing materials). While our business integration plans for STEEM is proving to be a slow process, there has been some progress to bring several "open-source" musicians / mentors on-board to start a community of prosumers. One great use case that we've figured out is to use Steemit as a platform mainly for music enthusiasts to make a little of something out of their love for the craft.
Of course, this will also involve convincing our investors to come onboard in an attempt to seed a community on the blockchain. What we've figured out at this moment:-
- Contributing / trading music-related products and services (samples, stems, mastering, mixing, etc).
- Sharing (or more precisely, reviewing) music (The goal is for music-makers to reward those who share their music).
- Get new sign-ups for Steemit in every event (Perhaps going for a limited-angle of promoting Steemit as a place to review our events, share photos, and get some rewards for doing it).
Hopefully, all these will come together in a few months after our very first breakthrough event. It's most likely that we'll be working with Above & Beyond this year! All thanks to some good decisions made by my partners for not skimping on branding and the various talents that we hire.
Being only a 7-month old company, I'm glad to say that we've established our names in the local industry, as sponsorship and partnerships are already coming our way. About time, as we have yet to pay ourselves anything during all these months! (The plan was to reinvest profits immediately to improve our business during the early stages).
Before ending this post, I would like to inform that we will welcome any ideas and suggestions that may improve Hybrid Entertainment's integration with the STEEM network. Well done kevinwong, it is not an easy road but well worth the effort, in New Zealand a small group (5) have started and grown a Country Music Festival from 48 caravans/moterhomes in the firstyear to 400+ 12 years later. Hard work but worth it
Yeah.. while at the same time keeping an eye out for blockchain applications for the industry :)

Ther was talk/post about doing steemit get togethers, could be worth floating?
Oh i'm not talking about that lol. Something more whacky like an autonomous, blockchained private / public space with profit sharing lol. Maybe i'll write about this one of these days

We've only been doing trance so far (which isn't really my thing, but others made a good decision to start on mainstream stuff first). So yeah, for now we can do just about anywhere in south east asia. And ideas before budget. If there's a good one we'll try to work it out anyway. Also up for underground dance acts :)

Thanks! I've been loving it here. So many possibilities for novelty, it's great. I'm mostly reading posts and getting a feel for the platform before I start diving in to creating my own content, but I'm looking forward to getting there. Firm believer that blockchain is the future, and it'd be very cool to see audiences start to make use of the potentials in this platform. I'll follow and keep up! My wife also works directly on A&B's team so I'm excited to see that come to fruition :-)
It's just difficult to do A&B over here as outdoor festivals are generally banned since some incident a few years ago, but we're definitely trying to find ways to make it happen this year.
Nice that you're doing a survey first :) - I immediately posted something about my thoughts back in June and got hooked since. I like there's really no limit on what one can try out in a post. Perhaps not atm (not interfacing with IRL events) - more like creating a community on the platform itself
