El género del Joropo en Venezuela musicalmente hablando, es un tema que todavía está estudios porque se trata de indagar sus orígenes desde la Península Ibérica, en el Oriente del país específicamente en el Estado Sucre, el Joropo Oriental tiene 3 variantes del mismo, que se identifican por su diferencia armónica, melódica y rítmica... ademas de que se interpretan con diferentes instrumentos, diferentes cadencias y diversos tipos de cantos, siempre manteniéndose en un tiempo de 3/4.
Esta diferencia se reconoce cuando los músicos y el cantante entran en el "Estribillo". El Estribillo es una de las variantes del Joropo oriental que para llegar a él, se debe hacer un compás transitorio de 4/4 y luego pasar al tiempo de 6/8, bien puede ser en tonos menores o mayores (media diana, candencias andaluzas entre otros).
En esta oportunidad interpretare un Joropo con Golpe de Arpa y Estribillo llamado: Mi Cosecha, cuya autoría es del maestro Francisco Cortesía alias Chico Mono.

In this opportunity I will interpret a Joropo with Harp and Chorus Strike called: My Harvest, whose authorship is of the Master Francisco Courtesy aka Chico Mono.
