Isaria’s Weekly Music Curation // Minnow Support Project Community Curation
Isaria’s Weekly Music Curation // Minnow Support Project Community Curation
As part of the Minnow Support Community Curation initiative, each week I curate 5 music posts using the MSP-Music account as well as the MSP-Curation Account!
Every night I scroll through the new original music and open mic posts and curate using the MSP-Music account. We have an incredible amount of amazing musicians here on Steemit!. The 5 that I choose for my weekly curation posts tend to be the wonderful musical gems that never made it to the trending page. I hope that you can take some time to listen and show some upvote love to these lovely musicians who are sharing their musical gifts with us.
This week I found some excellent creations from the following musical Steemians:
@nathankaye, @auditoryorgasms, @doghaus, @theatreofdelays, and @soundlegion
Here are my 5 Musical Gems of the week!
world's first didgeridoo beatboxer by @nathankaye
I was absolutely blown away by this. Not only is this an awesome song, but Nathan is simultaneously playing slide guitar, foot drums, didgeridoo, beatboxing, and singing to create an amazing one man band!
He also offers some great insight into the importance of our connection to nature before his performance. Please check this video out.
Deciduous Heartbeat - Dark experimental ambient music by @auditoryorgasms

Here’s another creation inspired by our disconnection from nature. @auditoryorgasms creates an intense ambient soundscape in this experimental piece.
Deciduous Heartbeat
Time begins, the forest sings her beat in sync with humanity. Slowly they drift, the harmonies collide no longer one. Forever twisted on different paths neither knowing their fate. Forced to mingle, push and pull under the same sun.
LifeWithoutThePain by @doghaus

I like the emotion rawness of this one and the lyrics are moving and meaningful.
LifeWithoutThePain
“This is a song I wrote after I moved home from New York. Even though I have great memories from living there the tug on my heartstrings from home finally won. It also helped to provide closure to that part of my life.”
I can relate to this, having lived in New York for 15 years. I understand the pain of NY. lol
Radiohead - Creep (Theatre Of Delays Remix) by @theatreofdelays
I usually focus on original music with my curations, but the aspect of production is such an important part of music creation as well. @theatreofdelays creates a nice remix here that actually sounds more like Radiohead than their original song does. :-)
@meno and @luzcypher’s Steemit OpenMic Songwriters Challenge just wrapped up and there was an incredible amount of amazing songs created by extremely talented Steemians.
@soundlegion put together a video highlighting the top performances plus 2 full unplugged albums which includes the competition’s best songs.
Wow. I listened to all 5 of those and you're right. They are gems. Ive now followed you, this is awesome and i look forward to your future gems.
