The actual reason I named this song Triskaidekaphobia is a veiled reference to 13 of something people have irrational fears associated with. I am talking about the International Fixed Calendar.

The International Fixed Calendar has 13 months, each with 28 days(4 weeks), one full moon and one new moon. Far better symmetry to float through space with; as opposed to what we have now, 31 days here, 28 days there, 30 days in the middle. In my opinion this time-fuckery is an original sin of the Catholic Church.

If you take 365.25* and divide by 12 you get (365.25 / 12 = 30.43)
If you take 365.25* and divide by 13 you get (365.25 / 13 = 28.09)

Dividing *the time it takes for our planet to rotate once around the Sun, a Solar Year, by 13 will give each month exactly 28 days. There will be a leap day every year and that can be attached to any month. My particular choice is February because it is the shortest month currently but could be the longest, and that would mean Black History month would be the longest month each year. #FringeBenefits

With this necessary change to the structure of how we count time, I believe, will also come with drastic change in our lives; both personally and collectively. How? It is all a matter of time.

If my personality was split into 2 different story lines, one (A) being stuck in our current time structure, the other (B) floating through the symmetrical International Fixed Calendar. (A) would experience his life based upon the ill-constructed elements of the Gregorian calendar, named and installed by Pope Gregory XIII (13??? ) in 1582. The Gregorian calendar was an update to the Julian calendar(so named after Julias Caesar in the year 46). Both Popes made a complete mess of how we personally and collectively use time to our benefit. (A) accesses time through the lens of outdated and outmoded belief system. (B) would flow through time in a more natural way and access the experiences he desires in an almost coordinated fashion.

Synchronicity DEPENDS on a valid and operable time structure. Synchronicity is where I find the most fruitful experiences literally STARING right at me. If we used the International Fixed Calendar, I believe, more people would see the synchronicities necessary to set themselves free from their normal day to day drudgery.

Once you notice "It," It notices you, and it's a whole new world after that.

Why we should use the International Fixed Calendar

If you look at a rose there is symmetry involved in how its petals are laid out. This is the mathematical equation for rose curves [Rose Curves - A rose curve is a graph that is produced from a polar equation in the form of:
r= a sin nθ or r= a cos nθ, where a ≠ 0 and n is an integer > 1] We see these flowers and say they are pretty because of the unique symmetrical layout of their petals. This is a naturally occurring feature of most flowering/fruiting plants.

Why is time any different? Is time an invention of man? Or, is it a naturally occurring substance with symmetry and noticeable patterning(synchronicity)? Humans have their version of "time." Time, however, is sort of like the grease easing the movement between two revolving plates. It isn't flat(one dimension - linear), although in this application it is squished or pancaked into a flat geometry. When two plates rotate apart the "Time" grease is "Free" to take its original shape, which in my opinion, looks more like an egg or a drop of water. Time is not linear(only linear), it is a quantifiable substance that lubricates the dissemination of Energy from Higher States(high vibrations) to Lower States(low vibrations) and back again.

Back to the Calendar now;
We should use the International Fixed Calendar because of its naturally occurring symmetry. We then, as observers, could see the fruit of life grow in our individual and collective lives without being side-tracked by the misgiving and self-serving nature of formerly dominant men(Julias, Gregory, any pope or clergy).
