Autumn Leaves ~ A Guitar Rendition
"And so, being young and dipt in folly, I fell in love with melancholy."
- Edgar Allan Poe -
I was not planning to post today,
but then I stumbled across this beautiful guitar rendition of "Autumn Leaves" by Joseph Kosma.

"Autumn Leaves" is a beautiful,
melancholy love song. Among other reasons, it resonates with me because when I was a child, my parents had a 45 RPM record-changing turntable, and Autumn Leaves was one of the few 45 platters that we owned. I listened to it often.
This particular rendition is long.
The song is repeated many times in varying styles. I love it, because the length and repetition afford me time to enjoy and steep in a very familiar, beloved song.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I am enjoying it right now.

P.S. If you have an "in" with anybody at Steemit, Inc. - Would you please ask them to get rid of these damn, extremely annoying "off-website" arrow/boxes? The have, overnight, made Steemit ugly. There are much better solutions.

I'm a bot. I detect haiku.
You found a good one there my friend. What it is is a variation on the theme and well done. Autumn Leaves is always always been close to my heart as you know. Thanks so much for sharing a great song. @creatr
You're welcome, Troy, and thanks for your visit.
Good tune and nice version. Being a guitar hack from way back, I have to share the version from the late, great Chet Atkins as well:
Just beautiful!
Thanks a lot! ;)
