Pathetic! - Bob Dylan won The Nobel Prize in Literature 2016 🏆

For the first time in history, the Nobel Prize in literature ended in the hands of a musician.

Robert Allen Zimmerman widely known as Bob Dylan was born during the II World War, in the US (Duluth, Minnesota) on May 24, 1941. This today 75 years old man is an American singer, songwriter, artist, and writer.

Not only that he profoundly influenced modern music and culture for the last over fifty years but as well become American icon whose most famous songs inscribed the chronicles of social unrest.

His life and work today is studied in many universities around the world not solely for his literary influences but as well for his political, social and even philosophical influential aspects.

Therefore, Bob Dylan's winning a Nobel Prize in literature or better to say "just in literature" seems pathetic to me. It's almost like issuing just a participating certificate for one discipline to an Olympic athlete who won first place in ten different sports disciplines.

Luckily, even as such, at least it's not a posthumous award for this unique American icon.
