I have promised you in my fly agaric post that I would share some more pictures of our lovely and very successful mushroom hunt with you in another post. So here we go :) I hope you enjoy the beauty of the forests surrounding Berlin.

Ich habe euch ja bereits in meinem Fliegenpilzpost versprochen, dass ich euch mehr Bilder von unserer wunderschönen und sehr erfolgreichen Pilzjagd zeigen werde. Los gehts :) Ich hoffe euch gefällt die Schönheit der Wälder, die Berlin umgeben.

Lets start with some mushrooms that are very important for our enviroment and essential for all life in the forest, the mushrooms that digest dead wood.

Lasst uns mit einer Gruppe Pilzen beginnen, die sehr wichtig für unsere Umwelt sind und essentiell für alles Leben im Wald: die Baumpilze, die totes Holz zersetzen.

There are various kinds of these mushrooms. I usually do not pick them except if I am very shure what kind they are but I find their variety in shape and colour truely amazing.

Es gibt viele verschiedene Arten solcher Pilze. Ich samle sie für gewöhnlich nicht, es sei denn ich bin wirklich 100 % sicher welche es sind, aber ihre Form- und Farbvielfalt ist wirklich fantastisch.

Just look how beautiful this mushroom hugs the treetrunk it consumes.

Schaut mal wie schön dieser Pilz den Baumstumpf in seiner Umarmung hält, den er ihn auffrisst.

This year is just the perfect year for mushrooms. Lots of rain and not to cold weather :)

Dieses Jahr ist ist das perfekte Pilzjahr: Viel Regen und nicht zu kalt!

We walked through the forest for 5 hours with kilos and kilos of mushrooms we picked. By the way when I talk about we I mean @juhudith, @sature and me.

Wir sind für 5 Stunden durch den Wald gelaufen, bepackt mit Kilos und Kilos von Pilzen. Ach ja, wenn ich von wir spreche, dann meine ich @juhudith, @sature und mich.

Mushrooms are magical, with and without psychoactive ingredients. Just discovering a previously to you unknown mushroom in the forest expands your connsciousness.

Pilze sind magisch, ob mit oder ohne psychoaktive Inhaltsstoffe. Allein das Entdecken eines dir zuvor unbekannten Pilzes erweitert dein Bewusstsein.

This brings us to the autumn Lorchel. A mushroom that is edible in emergency times, but is not easy to prepare. We left it in the forest. The fascinating type of growth of this mushroom has fascinated us, however.

Damit kommen wir zu der Herbstlorchel. Ein in Notzeiten essbarer Pilz, der jedoch nicht ganz einfach zuzubereiten ist. WIr haben ihn darum im Wald gelassen. Die faszinierende Wuchsart dieses Pilzes hat uns jedoch alle begeistert.

The special shape did not make it easy to photograph this mushroom. At the point when I took those pictures we still had 7 km wo walk before us, so we had to hurry and those two are the best shots I could make.

Die spezielle Form der Lorchel macht es nicht einfach sie zu fotographieren. Zum Zeitpunkt, als ich das Bild gemacht habe, hatten wir noch 7km Fußmarsch vor uns, weshalb wir uns ein bisschen beeilen mussten und diese Beiden die Besten Bilder blieben, die ich machen konnte.

This is one magical view in the forest. Looks like in a fairy tale, doesn't it?

Hier mal ein magischer Ausblick in den Wald. Schaut aus wie in einem Märchen, oder nicht?

We were not sure what kind of mushroom this is. Looks a bit like Laccaria laccata but we were not sure enough to collect it. Maybe you know if we guessed right?

Wir waren uns nicht sicher, welcher Pilz das ist. Er schaut ein bisschen aus wie der rötliche Lacktrichterling, aber wir waren uns nicht sicher genug um ihn einzupacken. Wisst ihr, ob wir richtig geraten haben?

Also this is a so far unknown mushroom but we are curious to find out more about it.

Das ist auch ein uns unbekannter Pilz, über den wir gerne noch mehr erfahren würden.

And this is how we continue. Any guess?

Here is our small but still very big find of the day: the Laccaria amethystina. The whole forest was strewn with these little pretty purple hat-carriers.

Hier unser kleiner und doch ganz großer Fund des Tages: der lila Lacktrichterling. Der ganze Wald war übersäht von diesen kleinen hübschen lila Hutträgern.

Aren't they beautiful? The awesome thing is: they do not loose their colour while cooking!

Sind sie nicht wunderschön? Das tolle ist, dass sie ihre Farbe beim Kochen nicht verlieren!

Milkcaps like this we have found throughout the forest and in giant format.

Milchlinge wie dieser haben wir im ganzen Wald und in riesigem Format gefunden.

This little fellow might be the panter cap. A mushroom that is pretty close to the fly agaric, but had been the reason for deadly poisoning. Better let him stay in the forest.

Dieser kleine Kerl könnte der Panterpilz sein. Ein dem Fliegenpilz sehr ähnlicher Pilz, der jedoch bereits zu tödlichen Vergiftungen geführt hat. Den lässt man besser im Wald.

As you can see we had a very successful mushroom hunt :)

Wie ihr sehen könnt war unsere Pilzjagd sehr erfolgreich :)

At the end we can have a look at the pan filled with Laccaria amethystina. This little mushrooms taste milde and delicious.

Zum Schluss gibts noch einen Blick in das Pfännchen mit den lila Lacktrichterlingen. Diese kleinen Pilze schmecken mild und lecker.
