I personally love mint juleps. Ice is the magic ingredient. Tiz True..
Muddle fresh mint (bruise/crush). Steep in 1 cup boiling water for five minutes. Strain and add 1/3 cup sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved. chill.
In stainless tumbler packed with shaved ice add 2 oz Maker's Mark Whiskey and mint syrup.
Stir until frost forms on exterior of tumbler.
