မာတာမိခင္ ဂုဏ္စြမ္းအင္းမ်ား
ငယ္စဥ္က ညအိပ္ရာဝင္ ဘုရားကန္ေတာ့သည္အခါတုိင္း အနႏၲငါးပါးရွိခုိးပါ၏။ ထုိအနႏၲငါးပါးတြင္ မာတာအမလညပါဝင္သည္။ မာတာပိတုေဏာ အနေႏၲာဟုရြတ္ဆုိျပီး အိပ္ယာဝင္ေသာဓေလ့ ျမန္မာတုိ႔၏ယဥ္ေက်းမႈဂါရဝျပသရုပ္ျဖစ္သည္။ ျမန္မာလူမ်ဴ ိးတုိ႔သည္ ျမတ္ဗုဒၶ၏အဆုံးအမျဖစ္ေသာ (၃၈)ျဖာမဂၤလာ တရားေတာ္မ်ားထဲတြင္ 'မာတာပိတု ဥပ႒ာနံ' မိဘတုိ႔ကုိ ျပဳစုလုပ္ေက်ြးရမည္ဟု ျမတ္ဗုဒၶဘုရားရွင္က ေဟာႀကားထားသည္။
ေမတၱာအရင္းခံျပီး ရရွိလာေသာ ရင္းေသြးကေလးမ်ားအေပၚ ထားရွိခဲ့ေသာ ရင္တြင္းျဖစ္ေမတၱာတရားသည္ မည္သုိ႔မွ် စာညႊန္း၍မရႏုိင္ေအာင္ထုထည္ႀကီးမားလွသည္။ မာတာမိခင္အားလုံးတုိ႔သည္ ရင္ေသြးမေမြးဖြားမီကပင္ ေလာကႀကီးအတြင္း ေရာက္ရွိလာမည့္ ရင္ေသြးေလးအတြက္ ႀကဳိတင္ျပင္ဆင္မႈမ်ား ျပဳလုပ္ထားခဲ့ႀကသည္။ အေကာင္းဆုံးကုိလည္း ေမွ်ာ္လင့္ထားႀကသည္။ မိခင္အားလုံးတုိ႔သည္ ဖခင္မ်ားထက္ အာေဝဏီကဒုကၡ ပုိသည္။ သေႏၶတည္စမွ မေမြးဖြားမီ ကုိးလေက်ာ္ ဆယ္လအထိ ေလးလွံလွေသာ ရင္ေသြးကေလးငယ္ေလးအား အခ်ိန္ နာရီ မီနစ္ စကၠန္႔ မလပ္ေအာင္ လြယ္ထားရင္းျဖင့္ မိခင္တုိ႔ကုိးကြယ္ရာ ဘာသာအေလ်ာက္ ေျခလက္အဂၤါစုံပါေစ တင့္တယ္ရႈေမာဖြယ္ကေလးျဖစ္ပါေစဟု ဆုမြန္ေျခြရင္းျဖင့္ အေမအားလုံးတုိ႔သည္ ကေလးမီးဖြားသည့္ အာေဝဏိက ဆင္းရဲကုိ ျပင္းထန္စြာခံစားရသည္။ သေႏၶတည္စမွ ရင္ေသြးကေလးကုိယ္ဝန္လြယ္ထားရစဥ္ ကာလအတြင္းပင္ကုိ စားေသာက္ျမိန္ရွက္စြာ သုံးေဆာက္လာခဲ့ေသာ အပူ အငံ အစပ္ အခါးမ်ား ေရွာင္ႀကဥ္၍ ရင္ေသြးက်န္းမာေရးအတြက္ အစာဆိမ့္ေအးသင့္ေလ်ာ္စြာ စားသုံးျပီးေနထုိင္ခဲ့ရသည္။
ထုိ႔ေႀကာင့္ ျမတ္ဗုဒၶဘုရားရွင္က မိခင္ေမတၲာသည္ ' ျမင္းမုိရ္ေတာင္ထက္ႀကီးသည္' 'မာယာပင္လယ္ သမုဒၵရာထက္ နက္ရႈိင္းသည္' ဟု ေဟာႀကားခဲ့သည္။ ထုိ႔အျပင္ ေမတၲာသုတ္ ပရိေတာ္မ်ားထဲတြင္ 'မာတာ ယထာ နိယံပုတၱ မာယုသာ ဧကပုတၲ မႏုရေကၡ' ဟု ပါရွိသည္ႏွင့္အညီ မိခင္အားလုံးတုိ႔သည္ ရင္၌ျဖစ္ေသာ သားကုိႀကင္နာစြာေစာင့္ေရွာက္၏ဟု ညႊန္ျပထားသည္။
