Microsoft Paint3D - My thoughts
Like most folks, I teared up when Microsoft announced the discontinuation of Microsoft Paint. To most, it was the first image editor one can get started with. It was minimal at best - a few brushes, cropping, shape making. Nothing to super, like Photoshop. It was a fun little tool and hearing that it will no longer be supported is sad.
However, enter Microsoft's Paint3D. At first glance, the interface appears to be nice - taking the MS Paint look and bringing it into Modern Design standards. But that quite isn't all. Click on 3D and you will be given a selection of premade models. If you are gutsy enough and have made your own model in Blender or a different model program, you can import it into MS Paint3D and get ready to paint with the Art Tools, coloring in your model the way you desire it.
Overall, I firmly believe that Paint3D is the most logical evolution of MS Paint, even though it has come several years too late.
