— No doubt. The sooner it will move from the dead point, the better. Keeping under wraps the old tapes, we impoverish the Arsenal of today's screen means to give less to the younger generation something very significant. Old tapes and documentary and art — seem to me very instructive.

— You could somewhat develop this idea?

— I do think that we underestimate the early chronicle, in vain did we forget about those truly heroic conditions, in which it was created. In one of your articles a few words about what working gear of a documentary of the twenties weighed something around polycenter. To keep up with him the events was difficult, isn't it?
