Daily Movie Recommendation,Genre- Comedy
Today I selected the movie The Brand New Testament (2015) aka Le tout nouveau testament which is directed by Jaco Van Dormael a name that probably not say much to you and I will say that he is the director of the movie Mr. Nobody (2009) which you probably already know and is his most famous film.
I was very curious about this movie which I have seen recently and I read a review somewhere that the movie is a dark satire about religion and life and seeing the genres comedy and fantasy I wanted to see it as soon as possible.
I tell you from the beginning that the movie is not a comedy where you can laugh as much as you can, being a black comedy is something that probably will not all like but I'll tell you to try to see it maybe it will surprise you.
Let's get started and see why I liked this movie so much and I'll explain a few things about it.
The story begins with Lea which is the daughter of God who tells us about her mother and father which is a bad person which controls people's lives from a room in front of one computer in Brussels.
To take revenge on his father, Lea manages to enter the room where her dad has committed many evil things and manages to ruin something in the computer system which starts sending all people the date they will die and from this point the things start to be interesting.
Lea run from home and she meets a homeless on her way and asks him to help her to write The Brand New Testament and goes looking for 6 apostles which will be added to the 12 that existed, and about the new 6 she will write in the testament .
Is an interesting movie from which I liked the way how the 6 Apostles were described each with a unique story one more interesting than the other and the music used in the movie is also a plus.
I recommend this movie that I hope you will enjoy and I'm curious about your opinions , and don't forget to request the movie genre which you like to be recommended for tomorrow.
