Motu - The phantom makes slow progress

After spending a few days relaxing in Windemere, Kit starts a slow downward spiral as the death of his father sinks in. He hadn't spent enough time with the last phantom in the previous few years and feelings of regret and sorrow were building up inside of him. Kit started drinking heavily and indulged himself a little too much in the darker side of Windemere. He doesn't remember much, but Kit does remember scolding Tommeboy for humping Kubbyglitters leg again and shoo'ed him off to the stables to stay with Ryvo and Ausbithorse so he wouldn't have to worry about him any more.

He also remembers doing tequila body shots off of Velma who had really changed after parting ways with Scooby.

And snorting cocaine from between Daphne's glorious rack. Kit had heard that after shacking up with Shaggy, he had gone on to star in a few adult films.

Needless to say he couldn't remember bugger all after that, though he does remember seeing Rodger Rabbit burrowing his way into Jessica Rabbit but that may have been a halucination.

After all that excitment, The Phantom really did feel like a ghost walking the next day, his head was killing him and he had one hell of a temper. To compound all this, he received the message for the next part of his mission. Travelling to Gorthlindir and saving a useless King was not high on Kits priority list today but his Bantu guide let rip at the Phantom and threatened to strap him underneath Ausbithorse if he didn't quit his bitching and get going.

Ryvo took the required tokens from the Phantom and told him "just shut up and ride, I'll do the talking you whiging fool" and with that the team of grumpy heros were on the road.

Ryvo had no problem locating Orko, but things started to get heated when Orko began questioning the legitimacy of the tokens. After the abuse Ryvo had copped that morning, her temper was on a high trigger. She ducked her head and charged at Orko headbutting him square in the balls. The little person finally agreed to help them through the jungle and to the temples to find King Stratos.

As they left the jungle, the Phantom was starting to feel more like himself as they came upon more groups of hero travellers. Kit was almost friendly when he greeted Inspector Gadget and Tomeboy got into a butt sniffing circle with Muxxley and Hong Kong Phooey. But then Tomeboy shot off to a group a girls and as Kit caught up to him, once again Tomeboy was humping the leg of Kubbyglimmer.

Kit cursed under his breath and started scowling the rampant mutt. He was once again in a feral mood and decided to just storm the temple and get this foolish king and egg.

Not in the mood to fight fair, Kit holstered his trusty 9mm 1911 and unwrapped his new toy that he picked up from GI Joe while in Windermere. A belt fed, laser sighted sub-machine gun that would pump 8000 rounds of hollow point 7.62mm ammunition per minute into any annoying villains should he come across any.

Ryvo looked at The Phantom and told him, "Old jungle saying O Ghost that Walks, bad guy always keep prisoner at top of tower." Kit looked up and realised this made things much easier. While in Windemere, Kit happened to pinch Batmans grappling hook, so he shot the hook to the roof of the tower and began climbing up.

As he entered the room at the top of the tower, The Phantom saw King Stratos and the Egg of Avion, as well as 2 henchmen. Not wanting to alert them, he figured a quick fight would probably be a better idea and his bad mood still had him fired up.

With the King and the Egg safely rescued, Kit scaled down the wall again and told him to bugger off to one of the other teams, he needed a nap.

The last thing he remembers from that day was seeing Tomeboy running after Kubbyglimmer, but he just didn't have any fucks left to give and he figured the girl could look after herself. He hoped tomorrow he'd wake up in a better mood.
