Fullmetal Alchemist --- (Motivational Series #5)

in #motivational7 years ago

Hello Steemians! A wonderful day to all!
In this post, I'll be sharing the 5th entry of my Motivational Series...

Here's the link of the fourth entry. --> https://steemit.com/motivational/@tegoshei/boku-dake-ga-inai-machi-erased-motivational-series-4

I hope you enjoy and learn something from this entry, too.

The following quotes that you're about to read are from the anime, "Fullmetal Alchemist". It's a world where alchemy is widely practiced. Basically, the anime revolves around the life of the Elric brothers and their search for the Philosopher's Stone to achieve their goals. It's a really interesting one, so if you haven't watched it yet... I recommend you do. ^^

So my dear friends, here are the quotes from the said anime...

A lesson without pain is meaningless. For you cannot gain something without sacrificing something else in return. But once you recovered it and made it your own... You will gain an irreplaceable Fullmetal heart.

Sometimes in life, we learn lessons the hard way... However, we shouldn't take it to heart. Life is never easy. It's a rollercoaster ride after all. Having said that, try to imagine life as a very straight path without a single bump. Looks great, right? But do you think it's exciting?

Of course, we all year for a perfect life, but the thought of it remains ideal. Personally, I believe that there's no perfect life, but we can try to live perfectly... and there's a big difference between these two.

Life, in itself, is a challenge. We need to be strong in order to survive. Let's not take our failures for granted. They are also very important. Let's accept and learn from them. Through various experiences, may they be good or bad, we become stronger. Our once fragile self would level up to a fullmetal one.

Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange.

Yes... that's the law of alchemy. BUT... Life is NOT alchemy! In life, we can be selfless and give without expecting anything in return. I suppose, being selfless is one of the hardest thing to do especially in a world full of greed and pride.

I won't be a hyprocrite and be honest... I am not selfless, but I can be! Sometimes, when you give something and expect others to do the same thing to you but they don't... you'll only feel disappointed. EXPECTATIONS hurt big time!

However, when you give with less to no expectation, everything turns out better. If you don't receive anything, it's fine!... and if you do, HAPPINESS can embrace you!

It's actually relatable here in Steemit. We expect for upvotes, comments and resteems. Well, that's normal! However, if you expect too much... you might get disappointed.

In my case, I write or post things that make me happy... because if my posts were ignored, I still had fun making it. :) And on the brighter side, when people of the same interest or like-minded Steemians check my post and appreciate it, then it's double the happiness and enjoyment. :)

In the end, I suggest everyone to write or post things that you want to share... something that you enjoy talking about the most. I believe that when you enjoy what you're doing, others would also have a light heart and enjoy what you did as well. :)

Nothing is perfect, the world is not perfect... but it's there for us, trying the best it can... That's what makes it beautiful.

I couldn't agree more! Imperfection is what makes life more colorful.

I'm not the perfectionist type for I always thought that if everything were perfect, it would be pretty boring.

Well maybe, we can appreciate perfection for quite some time. BUT, human as we are, we never get satisfied! We seek for more. We strive for something even greater than the perfection we are experiencing. It's an endless process of dissatisfaction!

But then, if we know how to appreciate *"imperfection", we won't be that greedy for more. If we know how to value the littlest of things, then it would be easier for us to find satisfaction and happiness.

I'm not saying that we should settle for less. DREAMING is a great thing! However, we should also acquaint ourselves with the ACCEPTANCE, APPRECIATION and SATISFACTION
.

Be happy, my friend! Life might be imperfect but it's beautiful... If you don't find it beautiful, then... CHANGE! Change yourself... your perception and everything else will follow! Start within yourself! Good luck! ^^

Here's a bonus sketch from me to you! :)

Nice post Shei. I watched Full Metal Alchemist when I was about 9 ^^ It's very interesting. But the first place goes to One Piece :) btw I like anime quotes. They are very emotional.

Thanks Chamu!! I keep a notebook of anime or drama/movie quotes with me.. So, I have a collection to share here... :D Ohh~ I know your love for One Piece is great.. hihi ^^

And to draw this one really takes time and passion to finished!

Thanks... it started as a quick sketch though... so it took me around 15 minutes, but I decided to do the shading... so it took me almost an hour to finish it all in all.. hihi ^^

Great post as always! and drawing is amazing!!!

Thanks for the constant support, sis!!! sending hugs

Hugs back to you too!

Awwww.... <3

One of my favorites of all time, missed my childhood days. There's an upcoming live action movie of full metal, hope that it will be good.

Cheers!

Sir @rye05... Thank you for dropping by! ^^ And yeah.. I'm looking forward for the live action... gusto ko po kasi yung line up ng mga cast.. ^^ Hopefully, it'll be available in Philippine theaters.. :D

I haven't seen the line up, sana nga, sikat ba ung mga actors? I mean if kilala sla sa pinas tulad nung gumanap kay samurai x?

The main actor at least is popular among the fangirls (Japanese idol).. Yamada Ryosuke has acted as the main character quite a lot of times In Japanese films.. :)He's short.. perfect for Edward.. lol.. I think when it comes to fame, he's more famous than Sato Takeru (Ruruoni Kenshin)... though I personally love Sato Takeru's acting ever since I'm hooked with jdrama.. lol

Dean Fujioka (Roy Mustang) is someone to look forward to, too.. He's a veteran..

I'm personally excited to see Kanata Hongo (Envy) because he's one of my faves.. he's a good villain in films.. and I like him as Ryoma Echizen (POT live action)

For me, they're the highlight for the upcoming film.. though the other casts are also quite popular in JP.

wow, you really did your home work ma'am ;-)

I checked them on wikipedia too, yeah, they're famous, they've been casts in several other famous live action like attack on titans and assassination classroom

Galing, mukang mas na hype ako sa live action ng full metal

hahaha.. I just love Japanese drama... perhaps that's why.. hihi ^_^

PS: Kung ang iba kinain na ng Koreanovela... ako nman, ng Jdorama, anime at manga.. lol.. xD

pareho tau ma'am, anime and manga is life :-)

Hihihi... ^^ Apir!!!! :D

great feeds.

Thank you so much. :D
