stratosphere leyer of uyo nigeria

Few months ago I remember during the launching of @stach hub 2 at Uyo, it was a moment of unbelievable delay at the Nigeria airport when our flight schedule was delayed for over 6 hour's which made me miss out from the launching of the hub, We came in 6 to 8 hours late during the launching of the hub. The memories was still fresh on my mind because of how we really prepared for the event.

But like seriously something came to my mind today after six 6 months of that incident, when I was watching am American movie title Sully A live incident of ergency landing on the Hudson River on January 15, 2009, Capt. Chesley “Sully”. No doubt delay is really better than disaster.

Video highlights of Sully

Capt. Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger and the crew of US Airways Flight 1549 were awarded the National Air and Space Museum’s highest honor: the 2010 Current Achievement Trophy.

Reason Why Delay Is Better Than Disaster

As a leader, you have to account for the human factor in all that you do. People are going to go off-script and make choices that may seem irrational.

Those decisions may be. But that’s the human factor.

Be ready and willing to engage with those on your teams that have to make decisions. Don’t think the simulations or trials that you have run are the end.

Delay is like mentorship class it avert mistakes and errors which can be seen ask disaster. For the fact we can see and

Taking time to assess the situation, repair anything that is wrong, and then move forward can avert disaster. Make sure everything is good before you hit the ground running.

Question: Have you watched the movie Sully
