Day 6 of a 14-Day Challenge: VOICE Your Vices + Vulnerabilities
Yesterday is the first day that I MISSED posting a daily, gentle reminder to
please go and vote for me.
Resistance from asking daily, perhaps.
Also, from campaigning "hard..."
Only to get totally flustered when I see I'm about to slide off of page 2!
I felt the very real EFFORT that it is, to stay in the top 100 of this thing.
I felt DISAPPOINTED by people I know, that withhold simple support...
but are fine receiving such. (Some withhold out of ignorance,
and innocent unawareness, but it still frustrates.)
And most notably...
I have felt OVERWHELMING GRATITUDE
for the people who DO show up
(even once -- and often, much more than once.)
THANK YOU for participating in the very selfless and generous act
of hearing about my dream while also, hopefully, nourishing your own.
"Fake it, 'til you make it."
That phrase has been offered to me several times, recently.
I've never liked it, nor agreed with it.
If I have to fake my way to GET "there,"
then I'll likely have to fake my way to STAY there.
And I'm certain that I don't WANT to be anywhere
that the REAL ME is not welcomed.
Hence, my choice to truthfully VOICE the things I find...
beautiful, terrible, and in between. 😘
I vote for you everyday, which is easy, because if have your steemit blog page opened in one tab as a gentle reminder, so every morning while enjoying my cappucchino I click on your link and vote for you.
It´s actually a nice ritual, to give something, first thing in the morning.
And with the latest SBD gold rush I´m feeling generous anyway. 😎
And regarding fake it till you make it, you could also frame it differently.
You could just think about it as acting as if you were the CEO already.
Think about campaigns you would develop for Cancun, which people you would contact, observe how that feels, being there already.
Some people call that day dreaming, some call it ordering from the universe, whatever, but it can be fun.

Thanks for the motivating words, true we have to showcase what we are and we should proud of our own self, never and ever leave your real self for the temporary benefit otherwise you will lose your worthiness. For us, its really important to be stay with truth, it will be hard but your self respect will be alive. Thanks for sharing great post.
