FALLING IN LOVE WITH YOURSELF

Are you in love with yourself? This might sound like a strange question. A selfish one. To the contrary, it is a fundamental principal of love that we can only love other people as much as we love ourselves. Most people are not in love with themselves. Society has shown them to see all their flaws. Most of them see all their imperfections and think they are not enough. Only 3% of of women genuinely think they are beautiful. People remember all the mistakes and failures and think, how can I love someone so imperfect? The fact is that you are perfect with all your imperfections. Every single thing that happens in your life is perfect as it allows you to grow. We all know that we learn and grow because of our mistakes and failures so why would we reject them? When you look at the forest, you see all sorts of trees. Some are tall, others small. Some have crooked branches or broken branches. Most trees are imperfect,but as we admire the beauty of nature, we would never think of criticizing it for its imperfections. Yet when we see a human, we seem to be wired to see all the imperfections. This is even more so with the people closest to us and ourselves. It is time now to fall in love with yourself. Today, take some time to write yourself a love letter with the same care and tenderness you would use to write a love letter to your lover. As you fall in love with yourself and learn from love yourself unconditionally, you will develop the ability to love others unconditionally as you will no longer use them to fill a void in you. You will become your biggest lover and you will be able to bring your wonderful and powerful love to the whole world.
