Today is cold, too cold for September...10 degrees colder than yesterday. The wind is also really strong bringing dark clouds. It will rain for sure...one of those heavy Autumn rains.
Similar to the other mornings, I started the day with a short walk in the garden among my beautiful roses. My hands were freezing so you can imagine what it did to my flowers.
The younger blooms have color still. But they slowly start to wither.

The older blooms are gone. Their dried petals will soon turn into dust but for now I will just leave their rusty "faces" to scare the unwanted visitors. Don't they look like brown Darth Vaders? 🙂
