This post is another did you know? one. And the pland of the day is the chicory.

Did you know that the taproot of chicory contains inulin, a polysaccharide that can be used as sweetener or a substitute for sucrose? And due to this substance, the amazing chicory is perfect for weight loss. Also, the ground root can be used as substitute for coffee or as flavoring agent for the coffee.

And, of course, a photo of the purple flower. 🙂
