This is a building not far from my home. You can see unmistakably the Chinese style architecture and won’t be wrong to guess it houses some Chinese related entity. However, if you think it’s a place of worship, then you are wrong. This place is the Singapore Chung Hwa Medical Institution. They conducted courses on Traditional Chinese Medicine but also run charity clinics where Chinese physicians provide treatment at a nominal fee. I used to go there for acupuncture.

Did the acupuncture actually work for you?
It does but it's not one time thing.
You need to go there a number of times.
Usually, the treatment complement with some Chinese medicine too.

How much they charge for normal public to go for acupuncture?

When I went , it was some years back and used to be $4 but I don't know how much it is now for sure but their website said "$3.00 (Registration) + $4.00 (Treatment) = $7.00/session"
