Monomad challenge - Lady or bug
The one challenge I try to participate in on a daily base is the #monomad challenge initiated by @brumest and hosted at the @monochromes account. Have a look there for some great monomad shots. The image is clickable for the full resolution shot.
Is it a ladybug...
I shot this ladybug on one of my last macro shoot in the garden. I use extension tubes on my 18-55 lens for now to make the macro shots. Maybe one day I will buy a real Macro lens, but for now a tripod has the highest priority. It's quite hard making crisp macro shots without a tripod I found out, this shot isn't all in focus but somehow I liked the result that one of the paws is nice and sharp. Will do some more macro shots when the tripod arrives, not so easy to keep focus with the extension rings.
