The Landing
The runway extends into the sea and is picturesque especially you have a daytime landing!
Especially landings!!
Imagine coming from a city and arriving for an island holiday, and you see the sea and shores on approach...
And the view.......
You feel as if you're going to land in the sea!
It's sea all around you, and around the plane
(Yes, always try to get window seat - well, I do anyway...
yeah, I'm like a kid about this... always!)
Sea and waves, and finally just before touchdown, part of a runway
Then you're on land - and you realise you were safe all the time
There was a big piece of land where the plane was headed
Safe flights... and if you're off to Bali....
I'm jealous! 😄

Awwww... Thank you! I do love landing at Bali's airport, even though only done so a few times...
I flew in once to the old Hong Kong airport - was told it was one of the more challenging airports to fly in/out of for pilots... That... was some experience! :D Haven't been to the new one, not sure what scale of 'challenging' it is on... lol
I only ever flew into Bali 4 times I think, Hong Kong about the same, being able to see clearly into peoples high rise apartments as landing was freaky for sure
Hahahaha... I wasn't looking into the apartments, I was more 'concerned' with running out of runway.... 😬

Wow, that sounds so fricken cool, hopefully I can make to Bali someday soon. Oh and I like the monochrome way more than the color ;)
