A many faceted Pearl
A pearl has no facets... It is just smooth, isn't it?!
Penang, or the Pearl of the Orient as it is also popularly known, is however truly many faceted, and its varied attractions seem to only be increasing in recent times!
Boasting a charming mix of things old and new that warmly welcomes all visitors especially those from foreign lands while local tourists flock to it, some who swear are there solely to savour its many delightful cuisines...
Ahaaa, food tourism... it is strong here...!
A state in the north-west of the peninsular Malaysia, many know Penang as only an island, while a part of the state actually sits on the mainland too.
Its capital, Georgetown ~ the second largest city in Malaysia, is situated on the island and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008.
A recent visit found me collecting many photographic gems ~ keepsakes... many like renewing ties with old friends... and some were new 'friendships' made...
Too overwhelming for one post, there will be more later
Here, let's just have an intro, an insight if you like... into some of what I have collected...

that is not totally so, imo.
but yes, (a) 1st 5 tags are more important, and (B) the other 10 tags let you earn rewards in different tokens without problems.

neoxiancity (given just as example) is not another platform.. it is just ... sort of an App, a blanket, a mediator for you (and anybody) using STEEMIT. everything you post can be seen there. (have a look: my link! all your posts are there).
there exist others, you can use busy, steempeak, travelfeed (this was 1st post by @ackhoo using it!).

my comment was about it. if you using other sites to post to your steemit blog, then you are able to use more tags then 5-7. 'neoxian' tribe allows you to use 15. and thats all. I also like using http://steempeak.com to browse and watch the posts (it shows info about your post rewards in anice way!)

Yeahhh, busy allows you to use upto 12... I've been doing almost 12, sometimes 10 for awhile now

Got put on a blacklist and had 5 of my posts (that I've seen) downvoted
By Mackbot. I called out on Steemitchat/help and Steemcleaners, and
Got removed from the blacklist and those downvotes removed thank
God.
All of which just makes me even more reticent to mess with all the complexities.
there are tags... and there are tags :=)
look, some community tags are for dedicated subjects only
for example, if you will use #steemleo for anything but text on economy/business subject, they may notice it and punish you with flag.
other community tags -- like, #neoxian or #creativecoin or #photography or #bilpcoin or #lifestyle - have no post subject restrictions, one may use them on any posts, and earn the said tokens.
you may try to make a post, and have a look at its rewards after 7 days. have a look at steem-engine, a waste mysterious universe will re-open for you!
