Thorns of Durians| 榴莲之刺

This a picture of durians at a stall. Durian is a fruit love by many but also hated by many. We call it the king of fruits. So, thorny on the outside with a pungent smell, they are ban from public transport like train and buses in Singapore.I made this it black and white for this entry.

What is the taste of this fruit?
I cannot really explain how it taste. It's quite unique. It smells bad to people who don't like it.
It some factory, it's also ban because people may think there is a gas leak.

There are desserts like cakes and ice cream made out of them too.
So, some said it's bit creamy.
This picture is from a previous post and shows how it's like inside.

That's the king of all the fruits .. in my country Indonesia many durian trees that thrive and have many fruits.

Durian is actually a fruit. Inside, it looks very different.

It's edible but most people especially from the west would get going near because they smell really bad to them. There are desserts like cakes and ice cream made out of them too.

Do u like durian?
I don't love it but I do eat it. So, I'm not the kind who must go and buy and eat every season but if it's convenient, I'll buy and eat. :-) There are who quite crave for these and there are even places with durian buffet and some can just have them for dinner.
I also eat it,durian chip is very delicious too. Have you ever tried?
I've seen them but not bought them. Now that you mention, I should remember to buy and try and i see them again. :-)
