Why not join Steemit.com and earn some money while you are writing.
Sometime in June 2017, I came across on this website from a Facebook friend that I do check on. On his post he shared that he is earning some cryptocurrency on a website that is called Steemit.com that time, I myself isn't familiar on the platform but I did sign-up on it until I began my blogging journey around October or November same year. Looking back at the post that I did made last December, I can say that my perspective did change already.
If you want to earn money through writing you will need to be an "expert".
This has been my conception way back before I entered Steemit.com, I need to become an expert on a field so that I can share something that is worth reading. It has been a struggle for me to write stuff because I myself isn't a local English speaker. I always have grammar lapses and even words that are spelled incorrectly. Plus not being an "expert" or a specialist into something is really a bother like, if I created a content who will be listening to a noob like me? The internet isn't a safe place for creating a mistake and the eyes of the people are on you. With all of the bashing and hating that I saw in Facebook and even Youtube I began to stay away from them and not interacting that much.
Let's all cultivate a habit of praise.
One thing that I do like on Steemit.com aside from earning on your post is comparing to the leading social media sites majority of people that I bump into just keeps on saying positive words to inspire you to do more and improve. I myself believe that if I do not have anything good to say, then I just let it pass and not leave any comments on that anymore. Initiating a conflict with a fellow steemian, isn't a good thing because not only the folks using the website can see what you are doing ( All logs are in the blockchain ) but it is also damaging your reputation and you might get a "Flag" by doing so. If you get a "flag" from other people, depending on how influential they are with their STEEM POWER, your content may be hidden or the worst your reputation score will go down greatly.
You will not be getting a few cents by sharing a content/ interacting with others.

Some may agree and some may not but for me since I am not an established blogger and I am new on this kind of stuff getting a reward like a few cents and even a dollar sometimes more than a dollar is something that I am really thankful for. There was a time wherein I just let my hands do the typing and then posted it on this website and after a few days I got rewarded not by cents but a few dollars plus the post is written in our local language. It is entitled Minsan hinabol ko si Umaga and I felt that time that maybe I can write more using the local dialect. But please be minded that not all of the time that you created a content you will receive something let's say that the monetary reward that you will get is like a tip and do not expect it.
The rewards distributed in a post is so small now compared to the ones before how do you manage?
Surely the reward is so low now compared to the previous months, but as I have shared on the message above still it is okay with me since I do not pay for anything aside from the internet bill that I am covering each month and it is all thanks to Steemit.com. The only investment that I do have is the time creating the post which sometimes took me 2 hours or so. I am just grateful that I do get some here, plus the learnings that I got, the confidence that I have built from writing and even doing some spoken word and sharing my insights is truly something worth than a dollar.
Will you be leaving the site like the others since it is not that lucrative as before?
No way Jose! I now seldom post, before atleast I am aiming for atleast 3 or 4 post a day but since I rarely have the chance to do it, I did plan to have 1 but I fail still. I am still enjoying doing the stuff and experimenting on it further learning more about cryptocurrency, applications that run on the STEEM system etc. I think I will be here for good already this has been my home a spot in the internet wherein I can share my crazy ideas and the funny thing is each time that I am searching my username in google the post that I created in steemit.com are showing in the first page! So, I think that if you want to atleast want to try sharing your ideas and be familiar with other folks this site is definitely a good place to start with. I did try to create some stories in Wattpad before under the same username but since I am not getting any money on that I decided to push the journey here in Steemit plus I am not a big guy there. I do know some Wattpad folks that already switched to Steemit because of the same mindset like me and Facebook Page owners.

Magandang post to bruh, no bs at totoo. Buti di ka na kain ng systema at nagpakasanto. Pera naman dahilan ng karamihan bakit na enganyo mag register, late na yung ibang bagay tulad ng charity and world peace. Mahirap lang kung ginawa yung latter as a front tapos nagpapakahipokrito lang.
Haha @adamada sorry sa late reply been busy with the personal life talaga. Pero tama naman talaga pera drives us here sa site. Sympre pag inofferan ka ng isang bagay na "free money" tapos sulat sulat lang at kikita ka na sino ba naman ang hindi ma e engganyo.
