Hi @terminallyill it seems to be quite hard to buy cryptocurrency from nz. Are you able to show me how. I tried with a credit card on one site but it said my credit card had to have 3D security or something like that and I don’t even know if we have that kind of thing in NZ. If you’ve done a tutorial can you point me in the right direction
@markkennard start with registering for the growing exchange Cryptopia, which is based in NZ. Id then register to Binance and Bittrex. Once you have registered, contact me, ill do what i can to get you in the trading game. Ill also write up a tutorial for this, though ill have to live vicariously through you in a sense of completing steps i can use for photographic reference points, being im not in your area and such.
What have you done so far to try to trade?
I’ve tried using a credit card on Bitstamp but when I put credit card details in it said it had to be 3D verified with the bank but mine can’t have been as it failed. That’s the only way I’ve tried as it’s the only tutorial I found which had instructions for buying with a credit card. I don’t hold any cryptocurrency apart from steem on this site
OK , well lets see if we can't get this figured out. If you are registered with cryptopia, you should be able to make purchases and withdrawals with no snag. When youre back from work, please reach out to me. We can figure it out and ill make a tutorial based on it.

I've never even heard of requiring 3D tech to buy. Most places literally accept everything down to Vanilla One prepaid gift cards. I will look into this.
