For A Few "SPDollars" More, Like The Good Old Clint Eastwood Western!
Here is my answer for the few articles, I read last days about the Self-voting issue after the HF19.
BRAVO!
I used to love Clint Eastwood's Western as a teenager and here is one scene what inspired me once again, Steemit community in mind.
Such a cool dream man! Isn't he?
Don't "shoot" me because I upvoted my own article but I am used to help myself, if nobody else does.
I have issues with egocentric, greed-driven, money-grabbing, abusive circle jerks, not with the occasional selfvoters for their various reasons.
I also wrote in a comment that I don't understand that people talk so much about money, already complain their first weeks on the platform, even beg for followers, votes and resteems instead of putting the focus on valuable content and your helpful comments.
Those things need to be earned and deserved!
The virtual world is not much different to the real one.
Nothing is free! Your laughs are.
BE Your Best Self!
Sometimes I write very long articles, sometimes I only share photos, memories, short or long posts, boring for one but maybe touching for another.
I do what I feel shows the soul I have to share.
Guess what, I have a few unfollowers every day as well as followers and that's ok. I can't expect everybody vibes with me but some do.
Rewards from whales, the so called well deserved powerful and important guys who invested their funds, believing in the coin and platform, can never value for who I am but I am proud to be a 🐬as I said before in my first anniversary post.
There are many ways where you can promote your precious articles and stories.
It takes time and zillion hours to earn your rewards and another zillion of hours to close your eyes, stop looking at trending pages and feel discouraged. It will not get you anywhere if you feel jealous.
It takes time to get to know your followers.
It takes time to be successful.

I read some contents about the selfupvoting on their own comments (not their post, just comments) and if I understand, the worst tig is that some (I hope few) steemians are "consuming" their power voting just to upvote their comments, without upvote the post that they're commenting. So sad.

I totally agree with you and as we can find in our real world " people are just people" and there are the ones who should be socially exposed for their abuse, the ones who would do anything for more money.

That scene is one of my favorite!!! Lov it! Here in Italy Clint has many many fans from years 'cause "spaghetti western" of the '60/'70 ! ^_^

haaaawww,... it´s a long way to go. Steeming around should be a self driving process without actually looking at reward (but we are all human) :-P

It's just living life to our best in general. Might not be good enough for a few others but it doesn't matter. Whales can't value me but they have the power to pay me well. That's all they can do for us. We need to focus on good content for the blockchain and the next generations to come after us.
Yes, agreed. Put value into our blogs. Whether whales see us or not. For ourselves, for each other, for those still to arrive.

i agree with you @mammasitta it takes times and effort to get famous in this site,,and the money will follow.
and I am not against of those selfvoting, as long as it is reasonable, and what called as deserve.
but i stumble upon a user who upvote one post and made $0.9 on the post, yet made a comment and upvote it and made $5.14 for him self, and continue to other of his comment. and the author get only 0.9?

Don't get confused about those people. Stand straight up and do what you feel is right.

That's what I saw as well over the past year!
The best way to spend time is enjoying yourself. If that leads to some kind of reward than so be it. It is easy to spot people who try too hard doing something for a reward but not being themselves nor enjoing it.

The main problem of people is money..maybe that's why
We all need it to pay our bills and I am no different. I enjoy my rewards but abuse is wrong. Simple as that !

Yes, many people do not know the basics of Steem and they just think it is just another way to making a few bucks.

Yes. As and when a lot of general public notices something that is making money to a few, they join it just to make money. Just like steem, or like Bitcoin; bitcoins were created for a completely different reason. It was to make it transactions, it was to decentralize money and to make use of the technology but people these days just use bitcoins like a way trade.
