Good morning and a happy new week! Morning recap of the markets
Good morning traders! A new week has begun, let's do a quick recap, what's been shaping the markets and while we're at it, view some charts as well.
Fundamentals
- NZ and German elections are thing in the past now. Both failed to deliver what the markets would have liked. Japan next?
- Trump vs sports heating up
- ECB's Draghi speaking today later on
- quite a lot of heavy-hitting data on the calendar this week. Will take a look as the events approach.
- Korea will finally have its own altcoin exchange with 111 coins listed. The exchange is owned by KakaoStock src
Charts
EURUSD daily. The pressure is on after the german elections. The USd is also an underdog so whether we get any real pullback, remains to be seen.
NZDUSD H4 - watching this channel. Bearish pressure.
SPX keeps grinding, no pullbacks allowed. Maybe i would consider a small short at 2520, not sure yet, but indices remain bullish until proven otherwise
BTCUSD break and hold above that trendline and we have room to run
XRPUSD. Ripple has a well-defined support that's been working quite well.
